I, do like a bunch of Danganronpa characters a bunch.

Aoi Asahina, (aside from obvious reasons) is mostly because she's very sweet, and how much she cares for her friends, and she goes through an arc! Succumbing to despair for a bit and actually try to kill everyone is bad, but she does it for feeling like her friend got betrayed by everybody and that no one is worth trusting, but she gets quickly gets turned around, warms up to most of the remaining survivors, and she still keeps her smile! It's very cute.

And yes she does look very nice. Especially on the suit.

But if this thread allows, imma admit one day I watched a video about how 2003 Grievous was a good villain, and I have become a fan of him ever since even though I don't really consume that much Star Wars media. Even bothered to listen to a long video about his backstory just so I know everything.

For a couple of male examples (being bi and all), Yoshikage Kira tickles all the right boxes for me. Not a usual fan of Ax-Crazy characters but his suave demeanour and that damn suit are enough to distract me that he's a Serial Killer. Those eyes are hypnotizing too...

Another one comes from Persona 5 Strikers. Which i haven't played but from the looks of it, Zenkichi Hazegawa looks dashing. Great build and facial features, and unlike most of the protags, he's an adult!, which makes me like him more for the change of pace.

I mentioned Avocato a while back here but if I may expound on my feelings, this guy may well be my personal furry awakening. I can't get over the juxtaposition between his being a hardened, badass soldier/bounty hunter with a charismatic baritone courtesy of the great Coty Galloway...and the fact that he's also an adorable catman with Big Ol Eye Brows who even makes cat noises even now and then, and can be just a silly as the main protagonist Gary Goodspeed. How can one resist the Eyebrows of Everything.◊ He's just so comforting and makes me happy.

Also I've recently got back to playing Food Fantasy and, while I have brought up the Tofu Twins before (in their circus skins), I only just realised that they each have a choker in their default looks. I know they looked fairly punkish from the get-go but I never took notice of that piece of attire specifically until now, and I'm wondering if that's part of why they appeal to me so much. *sighs* I'm giving myself a break with this one (or two^. *sweats*) though, because they're way more human-appearing than my... other fictional crushes.

any other alien/monster/robot enthusiasts 'round these parts??

Most of my simp targets fit as "monsters", but now that I think about it, appearance/species(?) is of the lower end of the factors that lead me to be attracted to a character. If I'm intrigued enough by their concept and/or their story, there's a chance that I'm into a character to some degree. (Monster features are bonuses).

Said stories don't have to make a monster sympathetic for me to be interested, but the idea that one is facing inner conflict is a good way of keeping me hooked. Hell, my first fictional crush was an accidental preteen arsonist, then the monster awakening happened a year or so after contemplating why I liked Venom (2018) so much (having an inner voice that gives you superpowers and a beastly form among other abilities). Then came more monsters, some less sympathetic guys like murderers and Monster Clowns, from the times of more morbid interests in teenhood that still resurface for me today.

So besides Venom, I can't think of any aliens off the top of my head, but as for machines (hopefully humanoid ones count), I'd love to get along with B-52 from Food Fantasy, less for simp reasons and more just "I want to give him a hug, poor robot wants to Become a Real Boy ".

There's also his other self of a higher rarity (SP), who's from an Alternate Universe where he never got any humanising Character Development and got experimented on and turned into a killing machine. He has much less understanding of human emotions than his original counterpart.

(I think I'm intrigued with this kind of character because I've often thought myself as an emotionless machine, so when a robot wants to feel human qualities, it hits deep with fuel for contemplating. As for monsters... uhh idk 💀 well for one, clowns are whimsical and carefree regardless of if they're ironic or non ironic, the aspect that they could still seem "in character" at that respect is probably what interests me.)
