I want to ask everyone for underused Sapient Species for Isekai that are based on Modern, Prehistoric/Extinct & Mythological Flora & Fauna that I want to use in my Isekaii Webnovel: Eros Fantasia Project

I have created only one Sapient Species that are based on Mayfly is literally named Mayfly which whose life is mainly in the water as nymphs, can talk only in the nymph stage but lose their mouth when they start to metamorphosis into the imago stage so they will shift into Body Language as metamorphosis complete, they can live only 1 year before they died of old age

Silphium. We know it existed. We know it was used for birth control and as an aphrodesiac. We think it's extinct because nobody figured out how to farm it and the existing plants were overharvested. If it was successfully domesticated in your world then women would have easy access to what we think was safe and reliable birth control.
