Video examples, man. Y'all can't wait a week before posting every single clip from [insert show/game/movie here]'s final moments? I scroll to the bottom of a trope page, and BAM.

A few years ago, I didn't know that Steven Universe had aired new episodes, and reading some page with the spoilers off spoiled to me that Rose Quartz was Pink Diamond.
No the location is not misspelledSometimes, I spoil myself by accident, actually. When you absent-mindedly click the spoiler tag for works that you aren’t really interested in and then get to a work you are interested in… Oops.
That, and the video examples mentioned. I wish people could wait just a little bit to upload videos with spoilers in them.
My AO3 profile. Let sleeping cats lie and be cute and calming. Some people will do anything to get their point across.
Reading the character's page on the Steven Universe wiki, that spoiler is on the paragraph before the contents.
When browsing quotes, I tend to look at the spoilers (especially if it's explaining media I have consumed before). Remembering said spoilers gives me little reason to go back.

The forums have shown me that I made the right decision regarding Three Hopes. I was trying to avoid spoilers at first since I was originally going to get it but... after what happened before its release, all my excitement for it just... disappeared.

FC: SW-1445-0294-1719/PSN: TekkenGirl4Lyfe/Currently playing: Fate/Samurai RemnantI'm a Spoiler Hound so I don't care
New theme music also a boxHalf the reason I check something out is because I stumble on a really interesting spoiler. The biggest one I was spoiled on was Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors, and more specifically the solution to the final puzzle and what that implies for the rest of the game.

What fate a slugcat...I got spoiled on Super Mario Odyssey's ending a couple hours after the game came out cause a Tear Jerker page had been made for it and I was wondering what could possibly be so sad as to warrant its own page. The pertinent spoiler was at the very top.
...As someone who legitimately thought Mario and Peach were gonna get married at the end, I'm kinda glad I got spoiled cause I was able to brace myself.

The Protomen enhanced my life. The Recent Videos list has one on Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course, which released today. I didn’t actually watch it and it had a spoiler warning, but the trope it was for plus the thumbnail was enough for me to connect the dots on the ending.
Some works I spoil for myself willingly because I don't care, but I did get legitimately spoiled by a TLP example regarding My Hero Academia. It was for a twist people have been speculating on for a while anyway so it didn't totally shock me, but it was still upsetting. Tis what I get for showing spoilers, but again, in most cases I don't care. I just don't expect to see spoilers for works I care about off of the work pages.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure Purenessno because I keep spoilers on
She/they. Hirrus Clutumnus is my comfort characterNormally, I'll see spoilers if I decide I won't care, but there was one time in a TLP draft the person suggesting the answer decided they didn't care to conceal spoilers for a work I actually was avoiding spoilers for, and the proposed trope wasn't a spoilers off sort of thing either...
I wish we could treat TLP comments like we do the rest of the wiki re: enforcing rules...
SoundCloudSpoiler Cat myself. (Not a hound. :p )
Cibrylls have trouble picking which avatar to use at times, so it changes on a whim at times~I haven't seen Amphibia yet, so of course now that it's actively on my agenda I've been having to dodge all sorts of spoilers lately, to mixed success.
Last week I finished The Owl House, so I went to scope out its discussion thread in the Western Animation forum, feeling safe in having caught up on everything important for that show... only to discover the Friendly Fandoms are so friendly, people felt comfortable discussing major Amphibia spoilers, without specifying when the spoiler tags were for a show that was not the thread's topic.
At the very least, what I have seen hasn't ruined the appeal for me, and actually make me want to watch the show even more, in a "Good lord, what is happening in there?!" way.
"Let's hear it for Nine Inch Nails! Woo, they're good!"MagmaTeaMerry, I have the same dilemna as you. First, the fact that seaponies from My Little Pony: The Movie (2017) are actually hippogriffs was spoiled to me when I read Our Mermaids Are Different with Show Spoilers setting. Although to be fair, What Lies Beneath spoiled it to me before I discovered that this website exist, but I fortunately forget that to not spoil movie to me (since I didn't yet watched it). Then, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish was spoiled to me thanks to spoilers on this site (particularly Wolf being The Grim Reaper), which maked me super upset, since this was when the movie was released, and I haven't yet watched Polish dub of it (I don't want to anger you, but I prefer Wojciech Malajkat over Antonio Banderas as a voice of Puss). But even then, Youtube would had spoiled it to me. So for this reasons, I will be staying away from Tv Tropes and Youtube when Kung Fu Panda 4 will premiere until I go to cinema with my family to watch it.
(Btw, I am new troper here and this my first post on this discussion).

For the most part, I tend to click spoilers for works I either am not as invested in (whether or not I'm interested) or have already seen.
Things like The Owl House, I avoid spoilers whenever I can. With Video Games, I rarely care about spoilers even if I am invested in it.
He/they | Mostly here on my free daysYes. Specifically, it spoiled that Wakaba would become a Black Rose Duelist in Revolutionary Girl Utena.
Oh no! The DREADED AQUAE MORTIS! No, wait, it's just your imagination.I didn't expect the Peter Rabbit film to get so much flack on this site.
I still like the movie but dang, that one time I checked out the YMMV page, I was unpleasantly surprised.
Pantheon Wick Cleaning
The page for Lethal Weapon (2016) has a spoiler in the very description! Kinda ruined the show for me since I haven't even gotten that far in the series yet. I spoilered out that part of the description so no one else would suffer the same fate as me.
Check out my forum game: Rate the above YMMV.
