I'm aware of it but never played. It's the book that explains that if Great Cthulhu gets hit with a nuke he returns in 1d4 days but radioactive?
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984I'm honestly not sure on that.
No, that's the original Call of Cthulhu.
Delta Green is more the X-Files and sort of a interesting deconstruction of conspiracy theories. Basically, it takes the kind of Deus Ex and X-Files "the world is full of horrible conspiracies" and it simiultaneously says that is both true as well as making fun of them.
- The Nazis and shapeshifting lizard people are real but they're a bunch of morons playing with fire and can be dealt with.
- Majestic-12 is real and the government has a massive treaty with UFO aliens—except the aliens are just fucking with them as the US has no idea what they really are (MI Go).
- The government conspiracy isn't all powerful. Delta Green is a fraudulent illegal organization that steals its money and impersonates federal officers with magic.
I understand the new version changed up a lot, though.

Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.Trivia on the side.
I joined a discord group and submitted a fan group for DG years ago.
The game offers many superb mechanics and fascinating tidbits of lore, and you really should give it a try if you enjoy deep but fnfeasy to understand mechanics.

hail, holy queen of the sea, you're whirling-in-rags, you're vast and you're sad
First time putting this up in this forum, although I am familiar with Delta Green. Played a game online, but went dead.
Anywho, I'm in the process of setting up the DG character page.
