Perhaps "Greys", suggesting that their colours blend and adulterate into something weak and tepid?
A "more-technical"—but nevertheless biased—term for them might be something like "Adulterants".

The Soiled? The Dirtied? The Walking Scum?
Some call it stalking, I say walking just extremely close behind

So in my setting, I have a race that has... magical color coding, best way to put it. They have a primary color for their main magic, and then secondary for some medium stuff, and then a tertiary for really minor stuff.
So a yellow's primary power is seeing connections to things, which can make for great detectives, but also helps them navigate and track people. i haven't decided on what the secondary/powered down version would be, but the tertiary, which is even more powered down, is more thematic; and gives little boons like danger sense, etc.
There is a condition this species can get, however, that blends whatever three they were both with more together, which can make it harder for them to cast magic as their secondary and tertiary sources are more than likely compensating somehow, or trying to balance out (possibly due to deficiencies in the primary). there's a lot of speculation about this, but it's effectively classed as a sort of disability and 'weakened magic', which isn't great in a mageocracy.
as such, i am looking for a name for the term, but also names for what people might call such people as a slur or as bad words/insults. right now I'm calling it 'blend'/'blended' but this doesn't feel right for me, probably because i am lacking the 'proper term' so it just feels like a low effort insult right now. maybe im overthinking. i don't know.
the extremist magic purists sort of seethe over it, because even though having all 3 of your magic sources for your ignition caste stable like that can, in fact, actually give you /boons/ (and more synergy between your three caste types, if different, or a boost if they're the same), they're just not considered 'pure'. most of them are culled as a defect as is, so public opinion is... low.
Obviously something close you could say is like... mudbloods or something, but I don't want ANY sort of resemblance to JKR's works at all or the author behind them.
