Sonic the Hedgehog film series general

A PG-13 Sonic would be strange, honestly, since Shadow the Hedgehog notwithstanding, Sonic is usually quite squeaky clean as a franchise.

Definitely. Even the comics, which are way darker than the series, don't really get beyond PG stuff, like the Zombots.

And even Shadow the Hedgehog was only given an E10+ rating by the ESRB, which roughly equates to a PG-Rating.

Which is kind of hilarious to me, as the game famous for giving us "Ow the Edge" was given such a low age-rating in the grand scheme of things.

If the movies based on the Adventure series isn't hard R due watching a lot of people drowning and Gerald's execution, I don't want it!!!!!

And the drowning music? I'm not even a huge Sonic fan and I know it's anxiety-inducing.

Makes sense to use the robot and jumbo-size it, since they probably can't bring in the Death Egg itself. Super lawyer-unfriendly.

So if Knuckles is the Winter Soldier, so does this mean Tails is Falcon?

So who's Iron Man?

Tails is male.

I'm assuming that Tails would be the Spider-Man to Sonic's Iron Man, since they might have that close relationship like Iron Man and Spider-Man did.

So looks like confirmation we're going to the Mystic Ruins/Angel Island, and at least some confrontation will take place in front of the Master Emerald shrine.

This all makes me wonder what Knuckles' relation is to the echidnas, given he lacks their markings and general tribal getup. Maybe another 'refugee' like Sonic, hunted for his similar powers, only Robotnik got to him first?

I just thought of something, is it possible of Knuckles to be a descendant of the Echidna Tribe since he is an Echidna himself?

He almost certainly will be, yes. Unless they decide that this antagonistic Echidna is for some reason absolutely separate to those other antagonistic Echidnas, which seems overly elaborate.

Knuckles also seems to have a connection with the Master Emerald again too, but whether he is a guardian of it still or seeking it out for his own ends isn't clear yet.

Whoever theorized earlier that the prophetic mural at Angel Island would come into play may have been right on the money.

From his line about being destined to fight Sonic, Knuckles seems to be pursuing some kind of prophecy, and yadda yadda tricked by Eggman into thinking that “kill Sonic” is what the prophecy means.
