Well,I happily stand corrected then.
New theme music also a boxThe newest one crossed two million views in only a few days.
Youtube algorithms seriously favor longer videos these days. It probably also points to how viewing habits on the site have evolved.
After all, nobody thinks it's odd for somebody to binge a season of Stranger Things in a day or two, and that's a bigger time commitment than the now slightly memetic five-hour Victorious video.
It's not even like he's the only one making videos this long. Video essays the past few years had been approaching an average of forty to seventy minutes in length, maybe even more. Then you have people like Hbomberguy who were making videos nearly three hours long.
It also took me like 4 days yeah. I think a lot of people watch the longer ones for the novelty/bragging rights of it all.
I think hour and a half videos are common yeah.

Quinton releases his Sam and Cat video, where he talks about the lost Gibby pilot, how Sam and Cat was made, the first 20 episodes, and why the show never really succeeded.
Honestly, I've never considered it, but he's right about Sam and Cat being weirdly derivative, in a way most spinoffs try to avoid.
And of course, the video is over 5 hours long, so set aside some time before watching it.
It's been 3000 years…I never watched a full episode of Sam & Cat. Learning that Cat is apparently still attending Hollywood Arts with the rest of the Victorious cast offscreen is so weird. Just from what I had heard about the premise my brain naturally inserted that these girls were out of school by the time the moved into an apartment together and started up their babysitting service. And yeah it does imply that there's essentially a "fifth season" of Victorious happening off-camera throughout the duration of this show.
Kinda shook in comparison that the Carly sequel had the respect to properly age the returning cast.
I have watched the show and he might be the only person I have ever seen enjoy Goomer.
I loved the part with his dad is was both wholesome and had the best gags in my opinion.
Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadI feel like Goomer and Dice are the only two characters that are even somewhat worthwhile.
It's been 3000 years…I agree with his assessment that Goomer gets all the best lines.

I like Goomer I am just saying that back in the day all I ever saw was fans hating on Goomer.
Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadI to thought they would be adults and it would make more sense if they were adults. As is, it's like why are you letting two unvetted teens live alone and run a childcare business? (It actually could be solved if they went to the kids houses but that would be a lot of sets, I think they only look after one family's kids at a time, which to be fair does let you be unlicensed in most non-California places).
I like how near the end, the Ariana quote abruptly cuts to static just as she thanks the elephant in the room. It really builds up the anticipation on how he's going to talk about him next time (since he's not going to torture himself into watching Henry Danger).
It's been 3000 years…The second part has been released, covering five episodes and then a long stretch of things he forgot throughout this miniseries. The rest will come out sometime in October because Youtube does not allow certain types of videos to go over 12 hours.
It's been 3000 years…I know he mentioned he was worried about the ratio of intermission to actual episode reviews but I really enjoy his intermissions so I found this fun. I especially loved the Doppelganger Theory section and the Matt Bennett section.
Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself.Frobbie 4 lyfe!
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I love that this is a 6 hour Sam and Cat video with only about an hour of Sam and Cat content.
Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadThis is the moment we've all been waiting for, the finale of the Sam and Cat retrospective. In this video is the last few episodes (including some bonkers R-rated show and movie reference-heavy plots), multiple board segments, a riff/review of Swindle, a discussion of Goomer's entire timeline, positive reviews for Henry Danger and its animated spinoff of all things, and at the end of it all, a serious discussion of Jennette Mccurdy's autobiography. Next time, that elephant in the room is going to be discussed.

It's been 3000 years…Why are these videos so long?
..cos its in depth?
New theme music also a boxEvery video gets a little more away from the topic at hand. In the last Sam and Cat video, he took breaks to talk about how he met one of the guys from Victorious and studied Miranda Cosgrove's music career.
In this one, he reviews a separate unrelated movie, goes through every appearance of Sam and Cat characters in other shows, and talks about Jennette Mc Curdy's history with acting.
If he only did a summary of every episode it'd probably be an hour or two.
Seems kinda disjointed. I kinda stopped watching his newer videos because I didn't want to have to watch it all day.
The 5h long video is by a far margin his most popular video. And this one's surpassed 2 million views so I dont even think that's true. They are both on his top 5 most watched videos (Alongside the two 3h30m videos for Icarly.)
If anything looking at his stats the giant videos outperform the shorter ones he used to do by almost 5 to 10 times.
