I've noticed a large amount of duplicate work pages, duplicate character pages, duplicate trope entries, videos, etc. Basically, some people will post a page or an example without checking to see if that page or example already exists, or a cleanup-effort will leave pages behind that get found during a wick-cleanup.
This thread exists to discuss these cases and find solutions, such as merging content or cutlisting things.
Note that we do not handle:
- Duplicate images (go to Image Pickin')
- Duplicate quotes (go here)
- Duplicate tropes (go to Trope Talk or TRS)
- Duplicate titles for different works (usually needing some sort of disambig)
With that out of the way, let the cleanup begin!

Ash Face has a duplicate Simpsons example:
- Spoofed on The Simpsons, when it was revealed that Moe was one of the original Little Rascals, whose most famous bit involved looking into a tailpipe and getting a face full of soot. There were apparently difficulties in getting reasons to look into the tailpipe, but they had good writers. It was one of these incidents that ended Moe's acting career, when Alfalfa looked into the tailpipe instead, prompting Moe to lose his temper and kill Alfalfa (though murder charges were not laid, as Alfalfa was an orphan owned by the studio).
- In The Simpsons, Moe reveals that he was one of the original cast members of The Little Rascals, where his character's bit was getting an exhaust pipe to blast soot in his face. Unfortunately, this led to him killing the original Alfalfa when he did the bit.
Alphabetizing examples is a great way to spot duplicates.
However, many real life examples cannot be alphabetized.

Kirby is awesome.Aaaand digging this up.
Amulet Trellis and Amulet-Trellis. Congrats, twin boys! (Note the dash in each title)
... which one's to be recycled, though?

Since Hyphenated Titles are depreciated, I say the latter one's gotta go.
Pantheon Wick Cleaning | "And your Lord never forgets." - 19:64We have two instances of Asteroid Thicket in the index section of Artistic License – Space. Which one are we using?
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportI like the first one.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessCaravaneer and Caravanner both exist. I moved the tropes from the second page to the first since 'Caravaneer' is the correct spelling.

We don't sweep with a broom, no~I found two pages about the same series: WesternAnimation. The Miniavengers and WesternAnimation. The Minimighty Kids.
Avatar by Butterscotch Arts. Used under license.Should probably cutlist the other one if you haven't.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI am a new user so I cannot access the cutlist.
We don't sweep with a broom, no~Ah. I can do it then.
As for , which one is the actual title?
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI looked up both titles and got results for both. Both IMDB and a seemingly-official YouTube channel use the title The Minimighty Kids, though, so it's probably that one.
Avatar by Butterscotch Arts. Used under license.Recently just found Film.Tesis and Film.Thesis, which are the same pages down to the examples. Since it appears to be properly spelled "Tesis", should I redirect the other one?
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI sent W40k Tropes A To H to the cutlist for being redundant with W40k: Tropes A to D and W40K: Tropes E to H, but it was denied.
That's the thing that tends to happen when there are too many inbounds. Try a disambiguation instead.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanOn Multi Ethnic Name, The Aristocats is listed under both "Films - Animation" and "Western Animation".
For every low there is a high.An almost identical example entry of Adventure Time is listed under Fake Mystery and All Just a Prank. Should one be cut?

Cut it if it's not already.
Tokyo Afterschool Summoners Three True Guilds and Tokyo Afterschool Summoners Western Warmongers repeats a ton of character entries, particular the stuff about the Power Trio Tezcatlipoca, Hombre Tigre , Shennong, and various others.
Unfortunately, being unfamiliar with the show... I'll just drop this here
I'm a fan of the game, and those character pages actually have a ton of other problems (a major one being that almost every character's entry has text copied from their in-game profile, so I've slowly been trying to rewrite the entries to remove the copied text). I actually went through them recently to clean up grammar and spelling, but I've been meaning to work on them more. I'll take a look at it.
On another note, Characters.Kaiserreich Asia and Characters.Kaiserreich Asia And Oceania seem to be the exact same page
Edit: Oh man, it looks like Characters.Tokyo Afterschool Summoners Three True Guilds is identical to Characters.Tokyo Afterschool Summoners Three True Guilds And Geniuses. I'm guessing whoever created the latter page was trying to change the name and didn't realize you should send the old page to the cutlist. (Actually, is there a way to change a page's name without just creating a new one and copying all the text from the old one?)

Fangs of the relentless thousandWelp, 11 days later, seems to be going nowhere.
Found two Spongebob clones — SpongeBob SquarePants S2 E12 "Pressure" / "The Smoking Peanut", SpongeBob SquarePants S 2 E 32 "Pressure" / "The Smoking Peanut" — due to the show's Long Runner status, which one to circumcise?
The former has the correct episode number (12th episode of the 2nd season), so the latter should be cut.
There are many tropes that are both a Discredited Trope and a Dead Horse Trope. In fact, about a half of the latter is also in the former.
Is that intentional? If not, it would be good to put tropes in one or the other.
