I've heard Discovery+ isn't all that popular, it just makes a profit because it's content is cheaper than Hell.

Something I've noticed when a large AAA game company (most notably EA) buys a smaller but quite popular game company, they'd be better off just leaving their new studio to its own devices and taking minor credit but instead they feel the need to screw with it in incredibly stupid ways as a way of trying to squeeze out as much money as they can and making it unpopular and unprofitable as a result (and that's when they don't have a new "vision" for it). That's what this reminds me of.

ID is usually playing in the break room at my work, it always looks like the exact same thing to me even though I have been informed there are, in fact, different shows. And of course they have nonstop ads for random reality shows on other networks they own and I can conclusively say I don't care about any of them.

I'd like to think that their stock dropping so sharply would make Zaslav reconsider what he was planning but something I've noticed with these corporate financial and ceo types is that they'll usually just dig in their heels even when thing refuse to go the way they planned.

So, Discovery is the guy who brings the least by far to the group project and basically tosses all the useful stuff the other guy had. Great.

Stock fluctuations in the aftermath of major announcements are normal.
