Currently on mobile, and current version looks clearly worse than the earlier version - new one is very artifacted while old one is clean

I was wondering why some of the images I uploaded today looked bad. Is this an issue that will be fixable? Or is there a certain format we should upload images in so they don't drop in quality?

I always upload as png myself, which used to be the best way to keep the quality... until now. Not sure if there's a way to easily "fix' the images since it seems it's the webp conversion that's the issue

A bunch of pictures (both on pages and user avatars) are broken once again...
The best character is always the one-shot disguise.
Some images (including at least one avatar) are showing up as broken on my end right now. I don't know if it's my issue or an issue of the website.

My end too. Made a report about it in Bugs earlier.
Specifically, I noticed a pfp wouldn't load. I also couldn't do forum posts for a small bit as well.
When I tried to open the image in a new tab, I got this:

Seen both avatars and on-page images getting broken recently
(Interestingly, it doesn't even seem to be the same images for everyone - one avatar image showed up fine for me but was broken for another user)

Some avatars show up on my Macbook, but not on my Windows PC.
Currently on desktop, looks awful either way.
