What's the Laconic version of your story?

I have three ideas, all WIPs

• Idea 1: A Space Opera esque story following the lives of 16 girls. All Idols, adventuers and players of an advanced version of Chess
• Idea 2: A hacker and a detective investigate child kidnappings in a cyberpunk city. A little minotaur girl and Cretan motifs are also invovled.
• Idea 3: Called "Ichor", I'm angling for it to be an anthology of sorts with a "power corrupts" themed influence by concepts in Puella Magi Madoka Magica, The Executioner and Her Way of Life and Zekkyou Gakkyuu. The former and latter means that there is a horror lean.

The Lion's Blood (WIP title) — USSR annexed Finland in WWII. In the late 80s revolutions sweep the eastern block, and a middle-aged finnish woman and her WWII veteran older brother are caught in a dangerous situation.

I have a few ideas that I've been thinking about for a while. I haven't actually done anything with them yet, but here are some summaries.

- Local man down on his luck wakes up in the Void Between the Worlds, and considers it an improvement.

- Humans in a fantasy setting learn the hard way that magic and monsters never actually went away when they started industrializing.

- Mixed martial arts tournament is sent into chaos when one contestant reveals their knowledge of Supernatural Martial Arts.

Colony/generation ship full of dissidents and malcontents dispatched from nearish-future Earth to Gliese 581-D at 0.1c. No crew; all systems are automated and can't possibly fail. It's going about as well as you'd expect.

Doves In Hell (WIP title) — In a dieselpunky WWI, the war is taken to the next level with the unearthing of occult forces beyond control and comprehension, and a german soldier makes an ill-fated deal in attempt to stop the world from destroying itself.

A Sorcerous Overlord tries to conquer a nation, then gets frustrated when they welcome him with open arms (because that's not how these things are supposed to go).

God In Iron – Magic robots living in countryside villages are lorded over by an old robot dictator who created them and claims that he's the perfect being and they're just flawed reflections of him and demands the others be always perfect in their thoughts, actions, and desires or they'll suffer eternally. A young freethinker, a former soldier, a hermit alchemist, and a bard rise to oppose him.

Cut The Loop — After the Cold War turned hot and the world ended in nuclear fire, the supercomputer Möbius keeps sending things back in time trying to prevent the apocalypse, but the nukes always launch in every timeline no matter what it does. Complicating things is that every change in the past resets the timeline without Möbius knowing anything has changed.

Darkness, Drudgery, and Death

Russian Law Enforcement guy moves to worst part of Moscow. Chapters alternate between him and reasonably older Detectiv. Hard Boiled Fiction book turns out to be Tom Clancy triller, complete with raging gunbattle for fate of Moscow and possibly Russia, or even the World. Readers are left wondering if Main Characters are anti-heroes, heroes, anti-villains, or good and evil doesn't matter.

Did I do that right?
