[up][up] Also it’s mostly Suu’s fault for diving onto the ground. Gremlin behavior for real.

[up] Uto being happy with becoming Centauto was so funny and wholesome.

[up] When a very kickable object meets an unstoppable force, you end up with Suu crashing into a wall. tongue But at least now we know that Ahko has a great future as a nurse/white mage with those healing powers. [lol]

Chapter 176 is out! Kurumi gets her first solo date! No, chapter 44 never happened, SHUT UP.

I thought this would be one of those chapters where Rentarou and Kurumi would face surprise obstacles in their quest to hit every food stall, but it pivots into a sweet moment where Kurumi realizes she wants to have fun with Rentarou as much as she wants to eat. That slight blush of embarrassment before she asks Rentarou if he wants to do anything is to die for. I really, really, really, really, really love the way Nozawa-sensei draws those bashful faces.

Another thing I loved: the girlfriends see how much Rentarou puts into loving them, and they try their darnedest to give back. Isn’t that cute? Isn’t that amazing? Aww.

It was also a hoot seeing the Disney attractions. Can’t believe they actually rode on the “It’s A Small World” ride!

When was the last time I saw a training cast? Kenichi I think? Pretty novel to use a limiter to make yourself hungry hahaha.

The final page's gag, specifically its artstyle, is apparently a Shout-Out to Kyojin No Hoshi.

Kurumi got a solo chapter all for herself, and as someone who likes her more than the norm (I like small gluttons), this was a delightful date.

I enjoyed both the funny (the reapid fire tasting, specially the popcorn section and the end joke) and the emotional (Kurumi trying to ensure Rentarou also has a good time) moments.

[up][up] Oh wow, a Kenichi mention, that is a name I hadn't heard in a long time. This makes me want a kunoichi girlfriend, that is a little bit similar Shigure (the main heroine of a more recent manga from the author (Kimi wa 008) has a similar personality, but that is a series you should be mindful about where you mention it).

We can have a kunoichi who’s a foil to Meme, one that wants to stand out but her weak presence combined with her training has rendered her forever part of the background. Then of course Rentarou always notices her.

Since they are both Shueisha, has 100 Girlfriends ever referenced My Hero Academia? I remember parodies from many manga but never one of BNHA. With Academia ending up, and All Might and Naddy being pretty much kindred souls (blond Japanese softies full of LOVE AMERICA! ham), I was thinking it'd be nice.

Eira has referenced it.

In her origin story volume extra, kid Eira thinks everything can be beaten with physical attacks and uses All Might as an example.
