So yeah, that chapter did what it set out to do. I appreciate the fanservice but not sure I need three of this type of chapter back to back. Guess we'll see how it goes.

The longer hair came from one of Kusuri's drugs, and it was mentioned by Tama, who was the one that needed it the most.

Also, I agree with you, a triple combo of chapters like this maybe too much all one after the other. I would have prefered if the was some extra distance between them, having one or two chapters that did different things. But maybe there will be some more variety, though the set-up needs Rentarou to be ill, so I'm not sure.

Now, the question is, who is the cut-off point between the two remaining groups? My guess is Uto.

I for one appreciate the... uh... Killer Drug Fanservice Arc, as well as how cultured this chapter was.

A possible swerve would be someone else drinking the other drug by accident. Maybe Hahari for the little ones?

Uto would be the safe bet as the cutoff, because after her comes what we would call the loli types.

I like the small touch of Momiji referring to Shiina as "Usa-chan-san", she's proper enough to use "san", but also willing to honor Shiina's request to be called "Usa-chan".

At the same time, she doesn't refer to Naddy or Momoha as "sensei"

New chapter, Rentarou takes the 2nd drug and now must experience downtime with his more slender girlfriends.

Also looks like Shiina is indeed going to be called "Usa-chan" by everyone. Though like last time with Momiji and "Usa-chan-san", Rentarou uses "Usa-chan-senpai"

Well, I had my expectations tempered. Pretty much just a parade of cute girls. At least they are darned cute in their pigtails, though.

Dayum the detail on the Mimimi shot. Oh and Iku is my personal top spot for pig tail glowup.

I will differ with you, since I believe Rin is the nicest one, since the panel she is loking directly to the front is down right enchanting. I also liked Uto resting with her hands behind her head, but you can barely see her pigtails, so she doesn't really count for the glow-up category (that is just Uto).

Speaking of, that is something I think the previous chapter did better, since the ponytails were better integrated into the girlfriends' hairstyles, while the pigtais are a mixed result, since in acouple cases they are barely noticeable. I guess we will see how the hairbuns compare to the other hairstyles next week.

One thing I'm only now realizing is how Mei's reveal about how she has to consciously not work can also play into her relationship with Iku.

I've noticed before that Mei and Iku are close. They have a Strange Minds Think Alike moment in Meme's "meet the family" chapter when they both pick the same hiding place, they do the ascetic training together, they're swinging on vines together in a bonus page from the zombie nurse chapters, it's Mei that Iku invites to join her on the Night Pool diving board, and Mei actually feels left out/depressed when Rin gets to spank Iku instead of her in the first daily life chapter. I tend to pay attention to this because I really like how they noticeably have a close friendship even though a big deal isn't usually made of it.

Mei's being a Workaholic builds on that. Much like the hide-and-seek moment, she is willing to the point of compulsion to push herself for the sake of her service to Hahari. Indeed it sounds like the only reason she takes days off at all is because Hahari makes her.

That's actually been a point of commonality between Iku and Mei. Only difference is that Iku pushes herself to the limits for fun, while Mei does it for others.

Chapter 173 is out and I honestly don’t care much for it. At least we’re done with this arc and next chapter is all about keeping Usa-chan company. I wonder what they’ll do? Attend a jam-packed concert? Share a locker? Get bound together by bandages?

Yeah, I pretty much skipped over it myself too. At least we're past this mini-arc.

I'm a ponytail believer so you know which chapter I liked the most

Honestly, after reading this chapter, I feel the overalls didn't add much and it would have been better if the small girls had the pijamas (looking like they had a sleepover), and then the slender girls had a different kind of chill clothing. Maybe just a simple t-shirt and sweatpants combo could have done the job of looking like they are just relaxing for the day.

A new chapter is out. Rentarou is sick for reasons entirely unrelated to Kusuri, and Usa-chan is feeling lonliness. Enter Mimimi, who offers herself as Usa-chan's companion, unaware of just how many times the words "Mimimi-chan" will be spoken in the course of the coming pages.

One thing I like is how "Usa-chan-honorific" is becoming a thing for her. Rentarou and Shizuka call her "Usa-chan-senpai", Mimimi and Momiji call her "Usa-chan-san". Now I have to wonder if Naddy calls her "U-S-A".

Next chapter is advertised as Daily Life, part 5, though I think there's a break due to Golden Week.

That was a wonderful chapter. It's always funny when the girlfriends are wary of Rentarou overworking himself.

Of course Rentarou was able to bear the full brunt of Usa-chan's love, but make no mistake, Mimimi attempting the same is just as beautiful. I also love Usa-chan a whole lot more this chapter— it's obvious she does try to hold herself back in order to stop alienating people, but she just doesn't have a clear idea of what the correct amount of personal space is (dear lord, even inside bathroom stalls). I like that her overflowing love was met with the obvious solution— have all the members of the Family receive it.

All in all, the second-year pairing is starting off strong!

I can't take credit for the catch. Others caught it and also noted the Muse-ical Club chapter where Mimimi talks about tofu.

Eira has three separate freak outs, Uto is fine with this, and Hakari teaches Matsuri about her kind of carnival

I always like how the Daily Life chapters mix up the girlfriend combos. Every single interaction here is something we haven’t seen before.

Whew, Momoha is hot. She also got Karane agree to getting groped. Take notes, Hakari.

One understated trait for Eira is that apart from her fear of anything she can’t physically attack, she’s one of the most grounded people in the series. It’s always a little amusing to see her look at something and react, “okay that’s a little weird.”

Tama apparently believes in pureblooded cats haha. All I can say is that cat food looks better than it tastes. Yeah…

Nano trying to please Rin by reacting to the static was incredibly adorable.

I’d pay for Shizuka to trash talk me.

I was not ready to see Suu get bodied by Yamame’s legs HAHAHA. That doofus.

Of course Yaku would be equipped to handle Usa-chan! Can’t believe I didn’t think of that.

The funny bit w/ Yamame, to me, is she wasn't even trying to kick Suu. Suu got sent flying by Yamame's walking speed. Also Suu forgiving Yamame is a nice sign of her own development, I think.

In Kurumi's defense there is people that profesionally taste cat (and dog) food during the testing process... her doing it as an amateur is a separate thing entirely, but that is why she is going to Didneyland next chapter .
