Ugh, right. My bad. I guess I got mixed up since so many of them are also very good at killing.
Disgusted, but not surprisedBeing good at killing is kind of a necessity in this occupation.
Well if your the type to physically enter dangerous locations.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Well, given the Yozakuras' cuisine and tools (Meat Grinder anyone), I'd say the Jack Bauer Interrogation Technique is far from forbidden for them. Kyoichiro's propensity to drop murder threats implies that the Yozakuras aren't so much averse to killing so much as they only do it when it's inconvenient for them otherwise. Heck, in the second chapter, he throws a guy's own bomb at him, and his last text is that he's gonna die in flames.
Though this chapter has me wondering, if the Asanos were completely in the dark about Tanpopo, why were they on the invite list to the 9th Yozakura Wedding? You don't get in unless you have a strong position in the underworld and/or are a personal friend of the Yozakuras.

They probably were just personal friends of the Yozakuras who were blissfully unaware of what the Yozakuras did for a living.
Which if anything would just increase the tragedy of it all. It would mean they were really just a bunch of innocent bystanders who were killed just for being slightly involved with a world they knew nothing about. And they only got involved in the course of trying to help a patient.

Disgusted, but not surprisedMy main problem with that theory is that Taiyo and Mutsumi's reception was chock full of spies, assassins, and crooks who openly made moves to attack Taiyo to test and/or kill him for a bounty. It'd be eyebrow raising if the Yozakuras invited someone who's completely in the dark. Not to mention the clearly emotional Asanos not reacting to it in any way.

Shout-out to this Mizuki dude for being supportive and affectionate to his Tyke Bomb. None of that "mistreat your more physically dangerous underling until they turn on you" amateur-hour bullshit here.
None that we see, anyway.
In any case, White Snake’s death was quite moving. And Taiyo got some intel without the enemy noticing. A true spy’s job there.
Well… I guess that’s one way to "have Taiyo’s baby". >.> And why are you freaking out to wake up naked in bed with your wife, Taiyo.
Well, he's still a teenager, and the idea of waking up naked in bed with your wife has connotations with sex, which Taiyo clearly isn't mentally ready for yet.

That chapter was really cute. It felt a bit like Karakai Jouzu No (Moto) Takagi-San.

Considering they still haven't consummated the marriage, there's still a great deal of awkwardness there, especially when he clearly wasn't expecting this.
Huh, didn't expect Tanpopo to be entangled in Hinagiku's backstory like that. Always figured it was more of a Yozakura-specific nemesis.
And congratulations to Sosuke. For at least one mission he gets to play with the big boys.
Damn, that was a big reunion chapter. It’s kind of the author to remind us of who each of them are because I had forgotten a couple (namely Sousuke and Tsukiyo)… though that might be because I missed five or six chapters after the Nanao arc.
Appropriate, given that Sosuke's shtick is being such a low-presence loser that he's a stealth prodigy.
Damn looks like this arc is gonna be a big one.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Is it just me, or has Yozakura been doing pretty damn well in the rankings these past few weeks?

Yeah, even though this last chapter had "we're going into the endgame" vibes, here's hoping it lasts. It's a fun romp.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.The chapter did make a point of the fact that Kawashita is just one of Tanpopo's leaders, so I'm optimistic.
Not sure the Jump editors would want to lose yet another potential hit, after all the series that already ended this year (or will leave the magazine in Chainsawman’s case).
yeah, I think this arc will be one of those "first big arc", kinda like Chunin arc, Soul Society Arc. Not gonna be surprised if the true leader and his generals will be introduced.
Did anyone else find it kind of amusing how the author tried to convince us that all of those previous persons and plot elements were related all along and totally not the result of his story still looking for direction?
Like all great authors.
I sure didn’t expect to see that creepy toy shop owner ever again.
Eh, it's a pretty episodic series. Nothing wrong with bringing it all together.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.The power of love, it's a wondrous thing. Make one man weep, make another gain Super-Toughness.
They aren't assassins, they're spies. It's an honorable profession where the ranking exams test whether applicants are of good character.
