If this can apply to movies, then I love The Last Jedi. I would get so much flak from people when I told them I liked it.
“We’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.” - Lewis CarrollI like both The Last Jedi AND The Rise of Skywalker. But I liked TROS more.
I can't say goodbye to yesterday…Never had a problem with Scrappy himself as a child, really.
I like all of the Star Wars movies that don’t end happily, TLJ included.
It's been 3000 years…I dont think that's an unpopular opinion anymore. Also this isnt the Unpopular Opinions Thread. Those arent allowed.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.- I actually like Wesley Crusher, and think he's a cool guy. Same with Neelix, Chakotay, and Janeway.
- I actually thought Dil and Kimi were very cute and hate how Kimi turned all grumpy and rude in All Grown Up!.
I don’t hate The Detective Boys.
Actually, as far as child characters go, they’re more than tolerable to me. Also, Conan getting some friends while undercover feels like it fleshes out his social life a bit. I like their dynamic with him and how they actually seem to learn some proper sleuthing as time passes.
My AO3 profile. Let sleeping cats lie and be cute and calming.Ditto. I recently watched through both TNG and Voyager with the missus and we found Wesley to be quite harmless compared to general fan opinon. He's a bit overexposed and saves the day a bit too conspicuously, in season 1 especially, but he isn't the worst character ever. With Neelix I felt that his annoying quirks were mostly intentional and I rather liked his growth as a character. I feel that most of the actors in Voyager did a good job with some very uneven material, especially poor Janeway, whose characterization was severely fought over by writers not wanting to compromise with each other.
Scrappy is a gigachad who did nothing wrong. He saved the show from an oblivion when it was about to collapse. His annoying personality was a deliberate part of his character and he grows and changes throughout the series he's featured in.
Bugleberry is a pretty funny character, to be honest. A lot of the fanbase hates him but I think he's a good gag character.
Don't know if it applies so much these days considering just how many levels in badass he has taken, but even before all of that, Usopp was the most relatable Straw Hat for me.
Apparently, he was quite disliked at the start of the series, but I've always liked him. I thought he was funny and, like I said, relatable. Not to mention, I've always kind of loved the Cowardly Lion trope - Someone who is scared out of their wits, but ultimately steps up to the plate anyway.

Billy. Yes, he’s a Spoiled Brat, but that’s the entire point, and he gets his comeuppance for it by running out of coal and learns from his mistakes. I also love his adorable buck teeth and Michael Angelis’s voice for him. Would have liked to see him again.

Jar Jar Binks is actually my favorite Star Wars character. He never bothered me in the movies, and the Clone Wars show only made me like him further. He's hilarious and pretty badass in there. Robot Chicken's skits also made him even better(like being the true Sith Lord), and then there's the LEGO Star Wars games that made him the first character with a double jump. Admittedly the last one is kind of ehhhh. Incidentally I also like the Droidekka.
I never found Big the Cat a bad character at any point. I just found his gameplay really poor in Adventure 1/DX. It just never worked right. Snapping your line cost you a life, combined with bleh controls. He's far better in Sonic X and Sonic Heroes, though. ...He's like the only one other than Omega I like in Heroes, mind you. The rest got too damn cheesy and felt awkward(even Shadow's own game toned down the ridiculous silliness).
I never disliked Scrappy especially. I found him more bearable than Shaggy and Scooby, who rarely did anything other than get run away, fall into pits, do grossout comedy that I never liked and generally were loud and obnoxious. They hardly ever showed depth or even competence. I would prefer the cartoon without them.
When I saw The Phantom Menace in its theatre run I did not really dislike Jar Jar, but then my overriding impression in general was deep disappointment. At least he livened up a bit a dull, flat film.
Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years.I actually thought Megan Parker was funny. I never rooted for her but I certainly never hated her.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessScrappy Doo wasn't even that bad.
GIVE ME YOUR FACEI had mixed thoughts about Chrono Cross twenty years ago, and I've had trouble replaying it since then. That said, Poshul the dog is awesome. No dark backstory, no dramatic story arc, just a goofy character. I made sure to include Poshul in the party several times.

I like everything about Chrono Cross besides its ties to Chrono Trigger which without spoiling things shits all over it.
It's been 3000 years…You mean, all playable characters, like Poshul? Speaking of Chrono Cross' playable roster, I thought Pip was a cool idea: a cutesy science reject that can evolve into an angel or demon. I would buy plushies of him if they existed.
The roster, most of the plot, the setting, everything.
It's been 3000 years…I have fond memories of Clippy The Paperclip. I thought he was funny. Admittedly I was eleven when I last used him, but I looked him up on YouTube, and I still like him. (Maybe actually working with him would be different.)
Yeah, I grew up playing cards with Clippy in the Bicycle Card Games computer game.
Are we human, or are we dancer?I never hated Clippy either, to the point that when I got older and learned about how much people actually hated him (to the point of being parodied on TV), it legitimately surprised me.
Then again, when I was a kid, Clippy and the other Microsoft Office assistant characters were the only reason I would go into Microsoft Office in the first place because I liked playing with the "funny paper clip guy".

"Lucian, don’t be afraid, we’ll make it through this."I've been watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer and I don't hate Dawn. Early on, she's meant to be an annoying character, but they gradually try to make her more sympathetic as season 5 goes on and for me it works.
Strictly musically based but I think Russell Crowe is good as Javert. Hugh Jackman as Jean is much worse.

To answer your question, Jar Jar gets less prominent as the trilogy goes on. He's a major character in I, shows up in a few scenes in II, and only shows up as a cameo near the end of III.
