Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

Announced ahead of DC's FanDome, the developers behind the legendary Batman Arkham Trilogy are about to tackle the DC Universe again. This time, under the lens of the Suicide Squad.

Their target? Superman. (Or maybe it's Bizarro?)

Huh, I guess the only way to do Superman's power justice is by making him an antagonist.

This is basically Killing Gunther the video game.

So, what, a bunch of missions with a bunch of armed lunatics try to kill Superman for some crazy general and then get swatted like flies?

I was just assuming (also assuming if it was particularly concerned about being canonical feasible) that combat would explained as 99% working because of kryptonite.

Well. I guess that's why they're called the Suicide Squad.

You know, having to hunt down Bizarro because of Waller wanting an anti-Superman weapon and everything going sideways feels like it could be a compelling plot.

Well hunting down the most powerful man on the planet & this is disregarding the possibility of other heroes showing up is quite interesting.

Looks interesting, and has great potential.

So, what are odds that Joker will hijack the plot of this game, too?

Depends on if Harley's in this game, which she almost certainly is.

Hopefully we get a boss fight similar to the one against Vader in Star Wars Fallen Order.

Considering Harley’s become more of a Squad character than a Batman character in recent memory, she’ll most likely be here.

Which makes me very curious about the cast. There’s a lot of characters they can use especially due to the nature of the Squad.

In all seriousness, I'm curious but I hope it will create its own identity while not pandering.

All I know is they better include Katana. She better have their backs and be able to kill every enemy in the game with one sword stroke, just like mowing the lawn.

He can climb to Krypton and get kryptonite to kill Superman.

Gosh darnit, these guys were supposed to make a Batman Beyond game. According to my wish journal.

Honestly I'd say Bronze tiger and deadshot will also definitely get it. Their two of the most Iconic members of the team.

I'd love to see some members of the Squad that were popularized in the Harley Quinn TV show such as King Shark, Doctor Psycho, or Kite-Man.

Deadshot is indeed the series mainstay. Been apart of most incarnations of the team in most runs & was the defacto main character of the Assault on Arkham animated film.

Man the variety of characters in the squad from Deadshot being a marksmen to Tiger being a martial artist makes the gameplay very tantalizing.

King Shark actually has been apart of the squad for several runs so he is a possibility.

Wasn't Katana playable in one of the Arkham spin-offs? My reference of a bad movie is getting off-topic.

On topic, Superman being a potential antagonist makes me wonder about the tone they're going for. THE superhero has been illustrated in dark ways recently and I'm curious how they can make it fresh when compared to Man of Steel and Injustice: Gods Among Us.
