So over 10 years ago or so, we used to have a newsletter called Trope Report, which covers all of the changes that happened on the wiki weekly. I have been nostalgic for it recently so I thought of it and it seemed to be a fun way to inform tropers about the changes going on around the wiki.
The sandbox for the project can be found at Sandbox.Trope Report Dummy Edition and the sandbox for ideas/plans can be found on Sandbox.Trope Report Ideas. After a new issue is published, revert the Dummy Edition back to a template using the text on Sandbox.Trope Report Template.

Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessOh yeah, I did put that in; didn't I?
I'll see if I can write something up next week.

I'd like to apologize for all this.I've added my entry.
Welcome to Ideal's WorldDavid Ajala has a birthday in May. Should we cover him for Pages Needing Help?
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportSure. I'll see what other creator indexes he can be put under as well.
I'm interested in Matron Chaperone and Be With You for an Obscure Tropes and Non-English Work Spotlight entry respectively. I'll do the write-ups tomorrow.

Silver and gold, silver and gold
I'm pitching up an idea for May's page image. It's a concept sketch of Sugar-tan, Trope-tan, and Darth-tan as mermaids.
ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔|I DO COMMISSIONS|ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔Re the previous three posts: They all look good!
She/Her | Currently cleaning N/A- May's birthday is David Ajala, a British actor known for his roles in Star Trek: Discovery, Supergirl (2015), and Mass Effect: Andromeda. With someone that covers a wide range of roles, his description could use a bit of an expansion from a single sentence. Tropes regarding his roles are also welcome.
Char Clone has been disambiguated, as it was often misused for characters who share some tropes with Char Aznable, rather than being complete Expies, a problem that has previously plagued tropes such as Darkseid Duplicate and Darth Vader Clone. TRS thread here.
Guy in the back alleys.Fanart At First Sight is being cut, as it kept receiving examples of "Character gets a lot of fanart" without further context, along with the actual definition of "a character/work already attracting fanart before the actual release of the piece of media" being seen as non-tropeworthy. TRS thread here.
Guy in the back alleys.Okay, I'm out of work and done browsing. Image of the Month day!
Anyway, I'm going to do Idle Game. I love that we literally have a game that you "win" by sleeping, plus the art style is gorgeous.
Honorable mentions:
- Overly Long Gag: This is a big trope, and I do like the pic; I just don't think it's as strong as the one I picked.
- Santa Claus: I'm surprised I still haven't written an entry about the public domain. Maybe some other time.
- Face, Nod, Action: Very cool! Shame I don't have time to watch the show.
- The Infested: Genuinely unsettling, well done.
- Mock Millionaire: Funny.
- Civil Warcraft: Obligatory mention because it's troper-made.
- The Inverse Law of Fandom Levity: The thread has two pretty good suggestions, but I'm unsure if they'll be added to the page in time, or if I was going to pick them anyway.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure Pureness
Since it's the 25th I've done a quick check on what's left. So far we need at least one entry for Non-English Works, Forumwatch, and Project Spotlight.
Welcome to Ideal's WorldI'll write an entry for Forumwatch.
Come play Character Uplift Game!Sponsor, too.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessWe also need a trope for Pages Needing Help.
Go for it!

she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportI did stumble upon Musical Slapstick Montage the other day, maybe we could use that.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessThis edition of Trope Report is brought to you by Nook's Cranny. If you're looking for furniture, tools, medicine, seeds or writing paper, just stop on by, hm? For questions regarding debt, please refer to our partner Nook's Homes. Yes, yes, that modest loan of 1,200,000 Bells isn't going to pay itself, after all!
I'd like to apologize for all this.
You nailed the Tom Nook voice lol

Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI looked into some dialogue of his before writing it, those two verbal tics ("hm?" and "yes, yes") really help a lot. "Modest sum" is also something that he said once. Overall I'm really happy with how it came out.
I'd like to apologize for all this.Double post, ignore

There's still a lot of April Fools' bios; specifically War Jay 77, callmeamuffin, Coachpill and Alnair 20 Aug 93.
Trope Reporter's also needs a change. The old one was this:
- Trope Reporter (real name Taylor Von Trope) is the mascot for Trope Report whose likeness was given a literal new resolution for this edition's image.
...and we somehow kept the news about his new resolution three months in a row. This is no longer news. What do we change it to?
I'd like to apologize for all this.
As promised, here are my entries for the TR
New Entry:
Creator Spotlight (since a new page was launched as well):
- Sui Ishida is a mangaka best known for his work on Tokyo Ghoul and Choujin X as well as the visual novel/rhythm game hybrid Jack Jeanne. His work gained notoriety among anime and manga fans both for his stunning artwork and his bleak stories (especially in Tokyo Ghoul). With his creator page being fairly new, its time to give more love by listing tropes associated with his work and giving it more crosswicks.
