Sandbox for this Project: TLP Adoption Drive
Per Let's Improve the TLP
, this project thread aims to tackle good-condition drafts (ie. a solid concept, a good description, and a decent number of examples) that have been declared Up for Grabs, either directly by their sponsor or via the two-month rule. These drafts ideally just need some more TLC by a willing and capable sponsor before launch.
Feel free to bring drafts that you think could be adoptable to the Sandbox. This thread is for the purposes of discussion regarding the sandbox, as well as existing drafts — whether they are good-quality enough to be adoptable, getting them adopted, and what needs to be done about them before launch. (Unworkable and low-quality drafts should be brought to the TLP Discard Project instead.)

Is it ok if I adopt Technical Advisor? There's a decent amount of examples in the comments, and the draft hasn't been edited for over three years.
I started some new discussion in the comments, and its obvious OP is still active as they're consistently bumping the draft.

We need to be better at maintaining the sandbox honestly, we might not have any need for the "adopted drafts" folder and might just want to limit to "unclaimed" ones.

^ Thanks, just deleted the line :) I think it's worth keeping the adopted drafts line but only until they're launched? Alternatively, maybe keeping a list of drafts that got adopted and were launched somewhere else for recordkeeping purposes

I think it's worth it to keep the "adopted" folder, as the adopters sometimes seem to forget about the drafts.

I adopted Clothes For Christmas Cringe without coming to this thread at all. Granted, it was kind of a special case where I specifically PM'ed the sponsor before the 2 months requirement came along to adopt it, but I just want to know if it's okay or not. I've added examples, changed the name, and added a quote. Should I reverse these if it turns out I should go through a process to adopt it correctly and I fail it?
I also am interest in adopting Deity Of Mortal Creation.

To be clear, you don't need to come to this thread to adopt abandoned drafts. As long as the draft has been abandoned for two months/you got permission to adopt the draft, you can adopt it. From what I can see you already have permission to adopt the first draft.
Deity of Mortal Creation has been abandoned for a long time so you can go ahead and adopt it.

All Soviets Are Russian is in an odd situation. The last sponsor, Cooking Cat, hasn't been active on it since August 24th (edited the draft), and when I tried PMing them, I got an error message saying that they're "currently inactive", which apparently (I'm not sure) means that they deleted their account. This counts as the draft being abandoned, right? Because I'm willing to adopt it, if only to deal with the remaining significant issue and have it finally launched.
Cooking Cat was a ban evader and has been bounced. I think it's safe to say their drafts are up for grabs.
Aye, these are up for grabs. Careful about such a title, though; it can easily draw a list of all "Soviet Russians" or "every instance of a non-Russian Soviet"

Yeah, that concern had already been raised in the draft's comments, and it's been suggested to change the title to Soviet Means Russian and tweak the description accordingly if needed.

Dusting off this thread.
So, I was observing the Adaptational Romance Downgrade has not been adding examples, and after contacting the sponsor, they told me it would be better for this to be put up for adoption. Which means this draft would be for adoption, yes?

There’s no announcement of adoption on the draft anywhere so you should be good to do so.
