Sandbox for this Project: TLP Adoption Drive
Per Let's Improve the TLP, this project thread aims to tackle good-condition drafts (ie. a solid concept, a good description, and a decent number of examples) that have been declared Up for Grabs, either directly by their sponsor or via the two-month rule. These drafts ideally just need some more TLC by a willing and capable sponsor before launch.
Feel free to bring drafts that you think could be adoptable to the Sandbox. This thread is for the purposes of discussion regarding the sandbox, as well as existing drafts — whether they are good-quality enough to be adoptable, getting them adopted, and what needs to be done about them before launch. (Unworkable and low-quality drafts should be brought to the TLP Discard Project instead.)
Sure.
Edit: Boy there's some things I want to adopt but I'm juggling too many drafts right now...

Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessFound some really old drafts I made under a new account and added them. Hopefully someone dust off their cobwebs- I'm genuinely surprised that they're not in absolutely horrible condition considering the time I made them and how inexperienced I was.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI'm thinking of adopting The Benchwarmer, but I'll edit it later since I'm currently busy this month.
I'm mainly a fan of underrated media.I'm bringing these drafts from my watchlift to decide what to do with them:
- Squirting Flower Gag and Acquaintance Denial: Pretty much all of Kartoonkid 95's drafts seem to be Up For Grabs from what I noticed. They're both good ideas, but need a new sponsor.
- Kill it with Lightning: I'm not sure what to do with this one. The idea is good, but it's a low-effort draft made by somebody who doesn't know how to use TLP. The sponsor is still on this site, so I'm trying to PM him to see if he wants to take this back and make the proper edits. If he doesn't responds, do we put it on the Adoption sandbox or yard it?
- One-off Ending Theme: Definitely Up For Grabs. The draft hasn't been edited since January and the sponsor hasn't been active seen February, but up to that point, it was going well.
- Our Youkai Are Different: This one can probably be discarded. It has 7 bombs, almost everybody in the comment section expressed their disapproval, and even the sponsor says he agrees.

I'm mainly a fan of underrated media.Yard the Lightning one; if the idea is good but the draft is unworkable, it's not worth trying to get someone to sponsor it.
Additionally, most drafts are taken here to determine what happens to them.

Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessIs there any real reason for the "Successful Launches" section? It barely gets updated and doesn't seem entirely useful.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI don't think so. If the the trope are considered viable then why wouldn't they be successfully launched when they are ready?
Macron's notesBesides that, it just increases the length of the sandbox because half of the links would never get to be removed from it.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI added that section because, in the moment, I thought it might encourage others to join in: "here's some examples of the results this project has produced." I never meant it to be a permanent fixture of the sandbox.
In retrospect, yeah, it was a stupid (if relatively harmless) idea.

I've removed the folder.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessIs this draft about video game abilities that only work when the player is at max health, or abilities that work better when you're at max health, worth salvaging? Or would it just be considered "Desperation Attack, but inverted"?
On my old name, I made drafts for Debt is Power, Extremely Cooperative Multiplayer, and Nerf Axed, and then forgot about them for years. If anyone wants to take sponsorship, feel free.

Feels good, don't it?There's a dilemma: Pichu-kun hasn't been active since May of this year, and much of their drafts have not been edited for months. Should we put their drafts to the adoption drive?
Pro-tip: You can search their drafts by typing in Pichu-kun's name, but there's no guarantee that that's all of their drafts. Other drafts by Pichu had been discarded by them.

ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔|I DO COMMISSIONS|ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔I mean, if the draft is in good shape and doesn't require Herculean efforts to get to launchable state, then yes, you probably should add it to the Adoption drive.
Conversely, if there's some drafts that are pretty much destined for the landfill, we can take them to the Discard thread and discard or salvage them as applicable.
It may seem rude, but Pichu hasn't been here in months for whatever reason, and sponsorship is considered revoked after two, so that's all we can do besides let them float around for possibly forever.
Durrr hurrr

Did you mean to post in Trope Launch Pad Discard Project?
If not for this anchor I'd be dancing between the stars. At least I can try to write better vampire stories than Twilight.Last Level, New Rules has been abandoned for quite a while and has loads of unadded examples. I was thinking of adopting it myself, but before it went dead there was this one person (that got banned at some point) who insisted it was already covered by Unexpected Gameplay Change — that was only their opinion, however, and even if it is I think there are more than enough examples to make a valid spilt. What do you guys think?

Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢I think it's worth a shot.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI’m under the impression that UGC is more drastic than this — the game temporarily changes genres, for example. This seems more along the lines of “last level cuts a hole in the safety net.”
I adopted it. If y'all have any examples I'd appreciate it.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢I'm wondering about Alcohol is Gasoline. It's launchworthy and in excellent shape but the sponsor is edit-banned and can't launch it. Should it just be left to someone else?
At this point all it needs is someone to actually take charge and do the thing, it looks like.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.I'm putting Different For Everyone up for grabs. It's a draft I've had for months now and I think it's in solid condition, I just lost the motivation to work on it.

If I were to add "Borrowed, Not Stolen" and "The 'One Job' Mistake" to the adoption drive sandbox instead of the salvage yard, I could mark them as high-maintenance and summarize why, like I marked "Spider-Man Kiss" and "Tactical Becomes Practical". Would that work?
