Video tutorials vs text based tutorials

Honest question,which do you prefer?

I've found I retain information better have read about it,video tutorials are helpful but the information takes several views before it sinks in

Honestly both work for me but written helps get the steps down better

Same here. Though I tend to prefer the written tutorials as its examples are better to take in then the video counterparts.
