I'm fairly sure at least half of those names are made up.
Also, someone in the video comments beat me to the take that this is an excuse for Ryan to dress up in all of his outfits.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Man, it didn't occur to me how paranormally unlucky Dana is. It's also pretty weird that everybody forgot about them in five years.
Oh yeah, the Ghostbusters use The Power of Friendship to defeat God. How very anime.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"The Power of Friendship and also the Statue of Liberty for some reason.
It's been 3000 years…No, no, the Statue of Liberty was because of The Power of Friendship.
Also, the dock worker's reaction to the Titanic appearing being "well, better late than never" was fascinating. I aspire to that level of nonchalance.
So, let's hang an anchor from the sun... also my TumblrI think the statue of liberty was more about the power of hope isn't it?
They used the "nice" slime that they'd conditioned with happy feelings to animate the Statue of Liberty. The pink slime was evil because it absorbed all of the bad feelings of New Yorkers.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Sounds like the pink slime would have become invincible if it hung out in the New York subway.
It literally was, and it was. That's why they had to get all the New Yorkers to sing happy songs, so the pink slime would become vulnerable.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Oh, neat, I was just joking but I was right. XD
I don't remember exactly how they got people to sing en masse, in the first place. Was it New Year's? It didn't really feel like it in the film, but I could swear that people were singing Auld Lang Syne.

Ryan 1: "...[a] bunch of probable idiots that we found on the street."
Ryan 2: "Hey!" (offended)
Ryan 3: "Hey!" (greeting)
Yes.
The Internet is for pointless arguing. And porn.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"The Boss Baby Pitch Meeting - Revisited!
Ryan's thoughts:
- He doesn't like how mean he was to the plot.
- Not enough in-jokes yet.
- Way too much artificial camera shaking.
- You don't get more sleep after the baby comes. (Congrats, by the way!)
I love the revisits, because it gives us really good insight into his thought processes, both at the time and his current one, and how he'd probably do them if he were to do them as modern pitches.
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets. The Divergent Series: Insurgent Pitch Meeting
OMG, this thing sounds utterly incoherent, even more so than usual for the young-adult dystopian Mary Sue genre.
They have bullets that only knock out people who aren't Divergents? Why? How?
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I hate the word mary sue, it's such a bastardized term that it means nothing at this point besides character I don't like.
Sorry, it's shorthand for "YA-themed audience surrogate who is for no obvious reason the most special person in the universe and fixated on by every other character".

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Wow, this one is somehow even dumber than the first one?
Nach jeder Ebbe kommt die Flut.(3)
Originating from fan fiction, the term Mary Sue was coined by Paula Smith in the 1973 parody short story "A Trekkie's Tale", as the name of a character standing in for idealized female characters widespread in Star Trek fan fiction. The term has been applied to male characters as well, though a male character with similar traits may be labeled a Gary Stu or Marty Stu.
As a literary trope, the Mary Sue archetype is broadly associated with poor quality writing, and stories featuring a Mary Sue character are often considered weaker for it. Though the term is mostly used negatively, it is occasionally used positively.
Like most terms that make their way to Twitter and most social media, yeah, it's been misused and appropriated in all the wrong contexts, like calling something edgy/grimdark/ironic/etc.
But like, if you were on the internet prior to 2010, it still has its uses/definition.

This is 100% What facebook is like
My dad insists on using Facebook Messenger to communicate with the family and yeah it's all this.
For some reason, Facebook decided that since I'd followed the pages of a few companies that I wanted to get every single fucking message they sent, even if it was just as a reply to someone asking for a refund.

There are some names in there that I wonder if he just decided on the spot while filming.
