My dad was a fan of soft rock and folk rock so I grew up with a lot of this stuff - Jim Croce, CSNY, John Denver, James Taylor etc. My tastes generally run towards heavier stuff, which I think started when I was a teenager in reaction against the kind of music I always heard on the family stereo... But I still like a lot of those songs.

Does this count?
It's one thing to make a spectacle. It's another to make a difference.

Bread is a guilty pleasure of mine. I like David Gates songs of course, but I also appreciate the Jimmy Griffin songs, like "Down On My Knees".

I unironically listen to songs in this subgenre, and I was wondering if others here did, too.
There are a lot of soft rock songs I like, though my favorite might be "Southern Cross" by Crosby, Stills & Nash.
