I know I didn't make this clear at all in my signup, really, but I'd like to emphasize that Pea hasn't told people about her backstory from Ni no Kuni, except for a very select few. Select few includes fellow immortal Jengbish.
That said, I'm interested in having Pea play quirky aunt to as many children as possible, so I'd welcome any opportunity for her to have babysat for Franklin, Laeta, or Eyebrows Junior. Being in two places at once gives you a lot of free time, turns out.
GM of AGOG S4: Frontiers RP; Sub-GM of TABA, SOTR, & UUA RPsI'd be up for that.
I also think that she and Satsuki must have an interesting relationship - I feel like Commander Eyebrows would appreciate her charitable outlook, and they'd mostly see eye to eye.
However, I also think that Satsuki might occasionally take advantage of her tendency to deliberate by taking swift, unilateral action if she knows the Mayor won't come to a decision fast enough to stop her.

-checks Sign-Up thread, sees part about Noel and Miki-
I can't help but feel that would be pretty accurate, especially since Noel wouldn't even be the first of Miki's friends to accidentally go on a mass-murdering rampage.
If I had that kind of power, I'd have dropped a meteor on your house ages ago~(obligatory post about Noel having the same English VA as Miki Makimura)
Yeah, I was checking for characters who would live in the Western Quadrant to write relationships with, and yours fit the bill Un, hope you don't mind!
"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiMiki intensifies
And thus the true, secret nature of their relationship is revealed.
If I had that kind of power, I'd have dropped a meteor on your house ages ago~I'll admit, it was on my mind when I wrote that section, haha.
"Shake the dust." - Anis Mojgani@darkside: If Pea would've been available to babysit around 14-25AM, then sure, I'd be happy to have had her look after Laeta.
And then Guzma went hardcore counter-culture and told Laeta not to associate with the centre anymore, but she'd probably ignore him in the case of Pea and still regard her fondly.
I'll see about other potential relationships later, when I get back home.

they/them || "Forgive me, regent of queer amphibians" - Lt.BGob@darkside: As funny to think of Pea trying to babysit X-23, I don't think she'll be happy with the idea of someone keeping an eye on her. They'd get along otherwise though.

SupRegarding religion: what's their position on Etmes? Are they awaiting his return? Is he seen as evil for betraying the heroes or for getting them to do his dirty work for him?
Who precisely do you mean here? The population in general, some individual or a specific group?
Conception is sin Birth is pain Life is toil Death is inevitableI like the idea about the babysitting, especially as Matt is an extremely busy man with only one body.
I also like those little Scratch snippets, Theodore Hastings. They're full of character.

^^ The five or six sects we already have, and the population at large.
Thanks, Troy!
So I've got some plans that I want to immediately roll out far as what Mr. Scratch is gonna do first:
Strat has given me the thumbs up to introduce a neat little environment special to the world of Alan Wake. It's located not far off from the tunnels and caverns where the god-killers made their assault through Balder's body. The shifts in the planet and gradual decay of the tunnel has collapsed a portion of it, and sparked a peculiar reaction in what might be called part of Balder's G.I. track. This area has been recently discovered by a group that is not ITCH, and is reported to be an area teeming with an inescapable darkness that seems to have an almost animal-like reaction to light and the presence of living creatures.
Perhaps there have been casualties; perhaps the explorers blocked the area off and vowed to never to step foot there again; perhaps they're more curious than ever, and are sending even more resources to study this thing. Whatever the case, Mr. Scratch has learned about this special area, and he wants it for himself.
I'm establishing that Scratch's agents haven't found this place themselves because it'll force an interaction between him and whoever's claimed it. So...who wants it?

I might have a use for that.
@Chabal 2: none of them really know about Etmes. The original heroes don't really talk about the time they got shafted by some random god. Besides, does it matter? Nobody's heard about the guy in thirty five years. He's not coming back.
@Theodore Hastings: a group of Fusiliers might be taking care if nobody steps up. That being said, I've also got an idea that doesn't involve the government, in case Scratch doesn't want to butt heads with Pea.
@EVERYONE: a couple of players requested that I create a Discord for the RP. Whilst it is a much more accessible and faster method of communicating, it does lack the 'permanence' that a post in the discussion thread has (nobody likes scrolling up for hours). And while it has thoroughly helped my other RP by giving the players a venue to engage in quick convos about their characters, it may also be far too much for some players, be they newcomers or people with just enough Discord servers in their backlog. I'm leaving it up to you all: please give me a quick yes or no.
For an RP like this, constant discussion feels key, so my answer to a Discord server is yes.
"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiFar as Discord goes, I'm...hesitant.
I'm a cautious cynic by nature, and while I'm looking forward to this game, I'm also not convinced it'll last long given the standard lifespan of 90% of TV Tropes R Ps.
Discord could help, I suppose. Or it could make it more of a hassle for those players who've never used it.
Meh. Just don't count my vote.

It's a yes from me.
I could discord
On one hand, there are some difficulties involved in Discord from a worldbuilding perspective. On the other hand, just because we use Discord technically doesn't mean we have to stop using the discussion thread, so I say yes.
I know almost everyone reading this thread is already on Discord anyway. It's just that those of you who I most need to collab with are barely online at the same time due to living on the other side of the world. How dare you. >:(
GM of AGOG S4: Frontiers RP; Sub-GM of TABA, SOTR, & UUA RPsI propose we have a Discord for chat and save the Discussion Thread for Important Worldbuilding Stuff.
Never used Discord before, might be nice trying out.
By the way, looking at some of the dead members of the original warriors, some of them have probably left behind some pretty advanced equipment to reverse engineer. Would it be cool if the Fusiliers have Batman styled armor with Soldier 76's heavy pulse rifle and Tactical Visors?
Sup@Chabal: The religions don't really know about him. What's important is the planet they're standing on.
@goldenshark: I feel like this might be my first personal veto? Haha, I just want to keep the tech at a rustic level, and I feel like that would be counterproductive. Also, I don't think Balder has the resources/manufacturing to keep producing that sort of stuff?
Well, by popular demand, we are starting a Discord server, but I'd very much like to keep this thread alive for more permanent posts. (If you still haven't been accepted, please don't join the chat.)
