Road Trip In Nowhere

I should be able to get back to being able to post at least once a day now, I hope. My apologies, the real life issues I mentioned before were severely cutting how much sleep I've been getting, and it was taxing my drive and creativity. I was hardly able to keep up with my own RP, let alone post in others. They've been resolved now though, so if all goes right I'll be getting healthy amounts of sleep again soon, and get back to normal.

Good for you; as someone who has had insomnia issues most of my life, I know how important getting enough sleep is.

It would probably also help if I didn't keep forgetting about this RP until the last minute every day.

Invoking some Chandler's Law I see? I'm in a real hurry right now so I can't post until later tonight. The front of the store has windows and/or the door is glass, yeah?

Dusty windows, but windows, yes. As for Chandler's Law... well, yes, pretty much I realized as the GM the slow pace of the story so far may be my fault. I could have brought in the deputy or White, but I decided I'd rather bring in some the Min-Mad-Maxers now rather then waiting.

Also, I've been making rolls but haven't been adding them to the roll chart, so the chart is still at an 85% chance of success. I'll start adding rolls if you try to attack or stop the Min-Mad-Maxer Minions or once you leave Fork. Basically, the further you get from Springfield the higher degree of risk you have to face.

The only one who ever got hurt in Springfield is Mort, and that's because Mort tried to help you all move on when the Reverend White wanted you to all stay. Springfield is a saaaafe place. You're welcome to come back, drink the kool-aid, and stay for-ev-er. Absolutely nothing bad will happen, we promise.

If you're camping, indicate if you're all sleeping in the RV or splitting up. There's one sleeping bag that can sleep two, and there are two benches in the RV that can be used as improtu beds (but remember, Mort is currently using one of those). You can also sleep on the ground in just your clothes, but that might not be very restful. You can also sleep in the car seats,. If you have any OOC questions, you can ask me in the discussion thread. IC questions can be asked to Mort or by consulting the guide book.

Phone post, critical lack of information that affects decisions, GM. How far away is the figure, what do they appear to be doing, and are they moving straight towards us?

Also, I forgot to mention I couldn't post yesterday, sorry. Won't be able to post next Saturday either.

At the moment,the figure is just barely visible in the trees and appears to be looking over the RV. You don't know if the figure sees you yet.

That still doesn't actually tell me how far away they are.

i'll let the player decide how close his character is. hopefully he'll respiond soon so we can continue

Oh, I didn't recognize that this was supposed to be a player character.

Wait, what? So out of nowhere there's a "vaguely potato-looking figure" who supposedly knows Silvia's name even though they haven't been introduced? Or are we supposed to just pretend that he was with us the whole time even though he obviously wasn't?

Totally up to you guys. I had assumed he'd show up and demand you take him onboard your primitive Earth vehicle for the glory of the Sultaran empire but apperently he's a dumpy potato-like ninja who already knows at least one of you. maybe your coat is protecting you from a mind effect that makes everyone else assume he is part of the group.

Well it also looks like Yam is out, and I'm starting to feel like I'm just no longer interested in seeing how this plays out.

I'm around I just get confused as to weather I'm supposed to post when there is a discussion going on.

Are you guys good to continue or want to call it? I'm aware of my own scheduling issues and other factors the plot is kind of limping along,
