You know, I think we should leave clear the whole Knight's size issue.

I think the size thing is important because if our characters want to interact with the environment at all they probably need to know their machine's relative size? In my opinion, a sense of scale's basically essential to mech fiction.

Edit: God, work today is IIIINCREDIBLY slow. So like... I got bored. Elaborating on mech size:

• Smaller mechs can take cover more easily than bigguns but are at the same time more limited by terrain. Similarly, smaller machines can straight up go places a big knight can't fit into.
• Grappling: big mechs are obvy better at it but a small mech being thrown won't be as big a deal.
• Ranges: Being smol obviously limits your reach in a melee.
• Mass: A brief convo with Grim implied to me that Guinevere is actually pretty huge, but still very light! Safir and Ector by comparison are small and heavy. Distribution of mass across your larger or smaller feet effects what surfaces you can safely walk on.
• PR:Size directly contributes to what sort of public image your machine projects!
