Game Thread

OK, First Topic: Should this game get its own TV Tropes Page?

I think so, but not yet. The game hasn't even started! Let's wait a while. For now, a mention in the main Justice Avengers page should do. IMHO of course.

Next topic: should we have a Chat room, and if so where?

Well, I feel the whole point of having a Discussion Thread is to talk things out, so I vote no. Still, if you guys want it, I am often on Skype. Though I've heard many fans are active on Discord (never used it personally.)

I'm fine with either skype or discord, but I think people like having places to chat so they can talk out ideas faster without clogging the discussion thread with tangents. We can still use the discussion thread to ask important game related questions or make announcements so people can see them easier.

Didn't see that you edited in a thing. I use both Skype and discord but if you already have Skype then just go with what you know.

Like Scorps said, it's useful for just being able to ping ideas and stuff.

Like I said, if enough of you want it, then sure.

Oh and the game just started.

I was thinking I would have Angela show up and start punching something until some hero showed up and was like "no" and explained stuff. Anybody game?

Diana would probably mistake her for a misguided Amazon, so I'd be up for that.

I'm pretty sure Wonder Woman could trounce Angela so if if she wants to fight and you want to fast forward stuff by just having her get the upper hand after a few blows be my guest.

Witty one-liner quip not required, though recommended.

Sure, I think once Angela chargs at her, I can sort of skip through most of the fight then.

In all honesty, when I first read the post, I thought Angela and Wonder Woman were going to thumb wrestle.

Whether or not that happens is still up in the air.

Tabitha did catch a piece of the meteor- but it was her action that released the particles that reactivated Meteor Man's powers. Also, more*might* be coming.

Since I don't want to assume anything about the combined DC/Marvel lore before I post, how exactly did you see Diana's and Artume's backstories fitting together? I'm assuming that Hyppolyta is not dead, but would Diana be aware of Artume or is this also completely new to her?

I'm assuming that Hyppolita is alive, yes, and Diana knows about Artume and most likely they have fought before (I leave that detail to you thought.) As for her origin, I'm borrowing Nubia's (Wonder Woman's Black sister, also made of clay) in order to have them co-exist. But if you want Diana's clay origin to be a lie, we can still have Artume be made out of stone- by Ares, just to spite the gods who favor Diana.

Borrowing Nubia's origin should work, we can use that one.

Also, this may be just me, but I honestly think you should really consult with the players first before giving one of them a brand new sister out of the blue. Or anything like that really. It'd be like if you had the Winter Soldier show up without talking to me about the why and how first and whether or not it'd be okay.

Yeah, I have to agree with kkhohoho. Fine for now, just watch it in future. On a side note, I remember pondering having Artume be the Negative Earth Wonder Woman, or at least the Negative Artemis. Eh, whatevs.

Might make my first post in the morning. Originally, I'd planned on going for the mystic warrior woman meet up, but that seems to have turned into a warrior woman pileup of sorts. And really, the last thing Lukasz needs right now is an en mass convergence of-
