"They Wasted A Perfectly Good Character" Cleanup

Yeah, this seems like misuse. Unlike other one-shot characters (like Alisson or Laura), he was written out. There was no reason to expect him in further episodes, he just fulfilled the exact role he needed.

What's the policy on "character was underused in pilot"? Because here's an entry on YMMV.The Amazing Digital Circus, that I feel is jumping the gun:

• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Fans of Zooble often consider them to have been underutilized in the pilot. While their Deadpan Snarker attitude and Brutal Honesty are made clear from the outset, they're then abducted by the Gloinks and don't get to do anything for the rest of the episode. Meanwhile, Pomni and Ragatha get to deal with Kaufmo, and Jax, Gangle, and Kinger get to deal with the Gloink Queen, leaving Zooble high and dry on having any plot importance despite their standout personality. They don't fare any better in the second episode, as they sit out the entire adventure in an attempt to hide from Caine, only truly showing up for Kaufmo's funeral at the end. Their rather intricate design is also an interesting aspect about them to explore.

Since it's an ongoing series, and Zooble is a main character, I would assume they'll get more focus later on. I feel like such an entry would be better fit being added at the end of a season, if the character is still unexplored.

I think that can be cut; Zooble has written-in reasons to not be used much in those episodes and I'm sure they'll get used more later down the line. We're only two episodes in and at least three more will be coming out.
