What would you ADD if you could?

A pokemon game thats a challenge like the old game. Lately it feels like the only way to make them challenging is to put a bunch of rules and limitations on yourself.

An app that can tell which VA voices the character present in the extract you just captured. Said extract had to be clean.

A similar sentiment, but with a Kirby game. I know the whole point is that the games are supposed to be really easy, but I do think it would be both fun and novel for one to be deliberately made to be more challenging.

The old games were only "challenging" because of limitations and bad balance too. It's of course gonna be easier to find good Pokemon if you have 400 to choose from than 151, not to mention how few types had viable moves. Bug and Ghost had nothing good, Psychic had no viable weakness, fighting's good moves all had harsh drawbacks, rock was limited in accuracy^note Actually, that bit's still true.. And even then, a Venemoth would wall Lance's Dragonite because of the AI.

I didn't just mean the first game, I'm talking about basically all pre-3ds games.

Eh, there have been ups and downs. You can't really say Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are in the easier tier, especially with Ultra Necrozma, though that may be too far in the other direction, basically forcing players to cheese it. And Gens II and IV just had high level gaps that mandate grinding. I'm not gonna call that difficulty. OTOH, in terms of difficulty, Gen VI was definitely the easiest.

But again, for all the first five gens, you had a very limited selection of mons before postgame, which is not a reproducable factor.

@Beautiful Eevee: I wish we had that too. Behind The Voice Actors is a great resource for identifying voice actors, but it doesn't have every work with voice acting, and it can't automatically identify voice actors based on audio.

I'm not sure if it is even possible to identify VAs based on audio (at least, using a computer). It seems like it would struggle to identify people who sound similar, have unconventional accents, or are putting one on.

It would be difficult to identify Charles Martinet as Mario/Luigi compared to him as Paarthunax. There's very little, if anything, that would be identifiable.

And that's why voice actors rock. Now pay them their due!

I know we're far, far past that part of the game. ^_^;; Nevertheless, there are a couple of things I would have added to the Cataclysm expansion to make it more fun.

• My friend Max and I both had the idea for this one. They should have had the Scarlet Crusade team up with the Alliance and the Horde during the Cataclysm. Sure, they're fanatics, but at the same time, their holy powers would have been quite helpful in fighting the Twilight's Hammer and their Eldritch Abomination allies. As the saying goes, an enemy's enemy is my friend.
• For a more heartwarming moment, I would have had it so that Alexstrasza would thank you with a soft and sweet kiss on the cheek or the forehead after you defeated Deathwing.

A feature to turn off mandatory tutorials in mobile games that walk you through every little thing and don't let you tap anything other than the buttons they want you to tap.

I wouldn't outright ban these tutorials because maybe there are people who need them. But most of the time, I don't.

A way to see where a Charcadet will spawn. I've only encountered two so far and both were female, and I'm looking for a male for naming purposes (Ceruledge's dex entry makes so much sense for a certain Fallen Hero that I have no idea what to name a female Ceruledge)... accidentally KO'd one, and ran from the other.

Oh, and I'd also add the Mienfoo line to Scarlet and Violet. (No I will not shut up about this until it happens.)

I would add Commissioner James Gordon, Detective Harvey Bullock, and Officer Renee Montoya to the Chicago police force. How quickly would the crime in the Windy City disappear with those three running things?

I wish more of those dumb harem animes were about bisexual/gay men. I'm tired of seeing those dumb ones with a himbo twink surrounded by bisexual women.

(I would've put this in DUMB IDEAS, but I think this would actually be pretty fun to see)

In the next FNAF game, I would add a bonus cutscene where Freddy and the other animatronics actually sing the Toreador Song from Carmen.

It could be a bonus for 100% completion or something like that. Just a fun Easter Egg and reference to the first game.

A way to see exactly who voted on crowner items. Did I mention that?

Is there a Record of Lodoss War movie? If not, then there should be. I’d especially like to see a scene where Parn and Deedlit finally kiss. Come on, you know there’s a spark between them. ;)

More characters for Steve Buscemi who are not villains and don't die. Even if it's an unnerving character who turns out to be Good All Along, that would be good. I don't know why, but I can't help but feel a little bad for him being typecasted in those negative roles.

English voice acting for Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent... though admittedly this is just because I want to hear the English voice actors for Oersted, Streibough and Alethea again if the Live A Live crossover event comes to the west ^_^;

I would bring back Office Assistants for most, it not all modern software. They would be optional, for people who don't like them, but I would use them for everything.

Also, imagine if we had one for TV Tropes.

Heck, I would bring back a lot of quirks from older computers, although this is the only one I can think of at the moment.
