To preempt the possibility of the main FE thread getting flooded, let's talk about Fire Emblem Heroes here!

Share accomplishments and good pulls alike.

Pretty good first pull. 5star Ogma and 4star Corrin and Wrys.

Some general advice. Once you get a decent team, put your orbs into upgrading your Castle. It increases your EXP gain, which is always good, and it only costs 20 orbs to fully max it out.

Never summon until you have 20 orbs in order to maximize efficiency.

Don't forget to upgrade skills.

Archers, Mages, and Dagger/Shuriken users can only attack from 2-range. Remember that especially for the latter 2, since it's different from the normal series.

Second pull got me... A second, now 3-star Raigh, two 3-star Cecilias, a 3-star Lissa , and most importantly, a 5-star Jakob!

Gotta say, though, my4-star Nowi's been the real MVP- She's up to 20 Atk now and while she can only strike directly she counters indirects. On top of that, dragon breath is considered magic and enemy Res is still mostly bad.

My first pulls weren't very good, though I did get a 4-star Oboro and 4-star Olivia who are both better than any of the units I started with. I'll be saving up to 20 orbs to get some new characters too; I really want more Awakening characters.

It's been fun.

I would love to talk about my experiences with the game but it won't stop crashing after that second data download. I'm unsure if the problem is a buggy copy of the game, my iPhone, or my techbane skills kicking in. Either way, I haven't been able to progress any further than the map where you get Virion.

I do lots of stuff. The real question is am I any good at that stuff.

As someone who's never played Fire Emblem, is this worth looking into?

It lacks a lot of the depth of the main series but as a mobile timewaster it's pretty solid.

Haha my first ever summons are a 4-star Lon'qu & a 5-star Camilla. Those two are among my favorite FE characters.

The latter is a fucking game-breaker too. Shit be going great now.

I got a 5 star Kamui and some other scrubs but I hated my pull so I deleted the game to reroll. Still waiting for it to redownload.

Forget recruiting any additional characters right off; just shove all orbs into EXP gain. Even the default characters will way outrun the enemy levels and stats, as per usual Paragon shenanigans.

Yeah, that was off-putting at first. Also, units may not have the same stuff as in their native game. I didn't notice until after I moved Matthew that he's not a sword user anymore.

Wait am I supposed to have characters other than Anna and Virion? I rerolled but I haven't summoned anyone yet and I already have two more Heroes: Matthew and Raigh.

You hit a full 20 orbs very early- That's what people have been referring to.

No free pulls here- Virion, Matthew and Raigh are always around.

From the five or so pulls I did today, the best of them were Lucina and Lyn.

This song needs more love.

Much as I'd have liked to have gotten Lucina or the like, I can't complain about Nowi being a perfect counter or Jakob killing everything with a Silver Dagger+.

Just rolled a 3 star Setsuna, 4 star Barst, 4 star Hinata, 4 star Eliwood, and 3 star Fir. Is that good or should I reroll again?

Extremely serviceable and acceptable, especially getting a >3 star mounted unit.

I'm rerolling my first pull, though maybe I shouldn't have... well, what's done is done.

It's been fun.

Been playing off and on for most of the day since it came out. While being really simplistic, this game is loads of fun. Probably the best f2p game I've ever played, especially on mobile.

My first pull was all four stars: Chrom, Abel, Wrys, Donnel, and Peri. Chrom and Abel have been absolute monsters while Wrys, while not overly necessary, has been super useful (and I now just gave him the ability to attack so he's even more useful).

I also just learned that I can upgrade my palace for more EXP. That's nice.

Fully upgraded my castle. Now I'll have to decide whether to spend the orbs I get now or stockpile them for later events. I'll probably do at least one more round with the current batch. Then I'll see what I feel like.

My two biggest complaints at the moment are the low stamina cap that can't be increased and the lack of daily quests beyond login and the special hero of the day. The former means I'll run out of stamina after 3 or 4 maps at the higher costs, which is irritating. For the second, I always appreciate a little more incentive to play each day in my F2P games.

Well, the second pull I did I got 5-star Marth and 3-star Olivia, along with 4-star female Corrin. Do the stars affect anything other than the skills they start with? Which isn't to say that that's not a huge difference; 3-star Olivia doesn't start with Dance the way 4-star does.
