The paint-scheme is kinda grungy, in a way that reminds me of the sci-fi stuff in 2000 AD that went on to inspire Rogue Trader and 40K as a whole. Much more striking than the typical blue seen so often on official Space Marine pictures.
Thank I did try to go for a bit more beat-up look as he is meant to have been operating behind Tyranid Lines for ages. Don't know if I succeeded though.
Double post for a Blood Bowl Elf Referee. Not one of my best but good enough.
I like the work on the feather especially. It strikes me that this model could easily be converted into a wizard or priest, holding up a magical ward of some sort.
Thanks. I do like the ivory-like look I tried to get with the feather and want to include it in a few more models.
Double post for a WFB Chaos Lord of Slaanesh that I painted recently.
I like the sharp contrast between pink and black, while the bronze makes it look extra fancy. Topknot aside, he reminds me of a fantasy-version of Bret Hart.
Thanks. I based the colours on the picture of the model in the 8th Edition rulebook, just with a few changes. I am thinking of using a version this scheme if I ever get around to painting a Hedonites of Slaanesh army.

Just finished some minis i plan to use in a future one-shot. The adventures◊ are going to face of against a necromancer◊
Nice! These remind me of Felidae, particularly the zombie-kitties.
Cool. I like the mage cat with the white crow.
Thanks, that movie is in fact my main inspiration for the upcoming oneshot.
Yeah that one´s my favourite too.
Here is the Leviathan Ballistus Dreadnought that I finished painting this week.

Sweet! There is something oddly superheroic about it. It might be the yellow colour-scheme, that gives your army a bit of a comic-book feel. It also helps that the posture adds personality to what is essentially a box on legs.
Thanks I think the heroic feel is because the pose makes it look like it is puffing its chest out.
I got a really good deal on the Lion el´Jonson◊ kit. Lucky for me someone made a mistake, since i only paid 30€ for it and another mini, for which the price should have been 70€ together (or the cashier didn´t like their boss).
I like the warm colours, as they make him look more heroic. Makes the Dark Angels' Primarch look more Bretonnian-in-space. The flowers are also a nice touch.
Nice job The flowers on the base work surprisingly well.
I've finally got around to taking some pictures of models I have painted recently. Here are The Chosen Axes from Warhammer Underworlds. Not some of my best work, particularly the eyes.
Interesting to see how different the models look when the metal-pieces are mostly in silver instead of brass. Compared to the official paintjob, these look more clean and less cluttered. I actually prefer this scheme.
ThanksI originally intended to do them in their official scheme but mixed up the colours for some reason.
Double post for two HeroQuest Chaos Warriors painted more than 25 years apart.

That's a good example of how older models can still look good.
Yeah, they are still great models.
Here is a test Blood Angel Tactical Marine for my Horus Heresy army. I may still add to the base and touch things up here and there. I currently have five models painted for the squad but with my slow painting speed and the cold weather stopping me from undercoating at the moment, I don't know when I will get all twenty of this squad finished.
I like the combination of silver and black with red. I think it would make for a good paint-scheme if Space Marines were used to represent power-armoured soldiers in a fantastical Cold War, because that Blood Angel looks like he could be a proud achievement of Soviet Super Science.
Yeah, undercoating on winter is a pain. I usually spray very quickly and then take everything inside to dry, though my wife has issues with the smell.
Double Post for my Scythes of the Emperor Lieutenant from the Leviathan box set. The picture is a bit poor again unfortunately.
