Eh, the thing about Game Theory is it's not really supposed to be taken seriously, which people (fans and haters alike) always seem to forget. Like, I doubt Mat Pat actually believes most of the theories he puts out there, he does it for fun.

I recently unsubbed from the Vsauce channels. It was neat to watch their videos, but they haven't done the series that really got me interested as much as they used to (examples are IMG, LUT, What The FAK), and they had dedicated videos on subjects I don't care much about.

I do acknowledge that he IS a good artist, is knowledgeable in cartoons and animation, and even talked with legit professionals in the industry... but he doesn't have good on-camera presentation. He says "actually" every opportunity he gets, he "performs" with an authoritative, overly-charismatic aire that looks very cheesy, doesn't get the definition of "cartoon" and "animated film", and cannot seem to understand that just because he hates something, it shouldn't be made.

Still doesn't excuse the massive decrease in quality, and his fanbase is pretty horrid on top of it. If I hear somebody try to convince me that Link is dead one more time...

I've heard about him. He seems like kind of a dick. I hate those types of critics who can't seem to understand that people have different tastes in cartoons, movies, games, etc.

As lackluster as his videos have become, Jon Tron has made it a point to keep political stuff like that out of his videos which I tip my hat to him for. And it's a lot more then I can say most people who make content nowadays.

H Bomberguy was a recent sub of mine because I watched his Fallout 3 video where he tore that garbage fire of a game apart and then I saw his videos on the comic book industry in which he blamed Alan Moore for the being the start of the Dark Age of Comic Books even though it wasn't really his fault but the edge-lords who thought that he had REALLY good ideas.

To elaborate I guess, the big problem I have with Game Theory is that somewhere around the time of his 'Mario Is Mental' three-parter, he really started to post more outlandish theories (including that one) with nothing to back them up aside from drawing even more straws, as well as ignoring Devil's Advocate entirely (not that he ever played that much attention to the latter, but still). In some videos, such as the infamous 'Sans Is Ness' one, he was outright factually wrong. It grew from being a minor annoyance in the beginning of the channel, to the norm. Eventually, I just stopped watching most of his videos altogether.

I do know that his videos are trying to stimulate people into looking at video games from different perspectives, but his were becoming more and more contrived that it started to just, well, lose interest with me.

FNGR (For No Good Reason). He has made a game out of insulting and hate-bashing anyone for fun, without any remorse for it.

How bad is he?

Yeah, my story behind unsubbing from him is pretty much exactly the same.

Collider, Screenjunkies, Shmoes Knows, and Smosh Games.

This video is one reason I'm happy I unsubscribed from Collider and Shmoes Knows a month or two ago.

It is also the reason I unsubscribed from Screen Junkies and by extension Smosh Games because they're affiliated with Screen Junkies.

I unsubscribed from Outside Xbox today. While they weren't a bad channel, I gradually lost interest in their content. I think I prefer Play Station Access to them because Play Station Access have more interesting topics in their videos.

I know this is an old forum post but might as well.

I unsubbed from Tyrone Magnus a couple years ago. Not because he sold out to the reaction videos bandwagon, but because of this one video he made making fun of John Cena after he, in Real Life not Kayfabe, got injured and put out of action for awhile. Look, I don't care that much about John Cena, but celebrating someone getting seriously hurt is very tasteless in my opinion. It was at this point I unsubscribed from him and never watched anything from him ever again. I also started to develop a hatred for Smart Marks like him around this time, too.

I unsubscribed to Omega Evolution. Not because he's bad, on the contrary, it's just that I don't want to watch walkthroughs or let's plays of recent games, so I don't spoil myself.

Then again, I only watch let's plays or walkthroughs of games, in case I'm stuck and I need visual reference.

It seems I'm not the only one who's unsubscribed from jontron and game theory.

A bunch of animation channels since they were just doing the same memes over and over again.

Which ones in particular?

Doesn't Hbomber state exactly what you just said in his Killing Joke review?

PS: I dropped Jontron for reasons many others here share after his racial rants.
