One Shot Questers: Not a bad DnD channel, just fell off their content.

The Completionist: Same as above, just replace "DnD" with "gaming."

TheSteamLord: An excellent YTPer, but 85% of his content over the past year has been prepping collabs. I have immense respect for Poopers that host collabs, but collabs are always intense undertakings with a mountain of content to work with that stifles the ability to produce individual content...the thing I subbed him for. He also does that thing I find annoying about current-day Collabs that group portions by individual scene rather than submission^note Case in point, he'll take the singing pirate bit from the Spongebob opening and stitch every single participant's tweaking of that particular bit together instead of just showing each full submission one at a time; All scenes of the source are frankensteined in this way and makes it harder to appreciate each Pooper's individual take on the material (unless you watch each entry individually) - It either blends too well and feels like only one person made the whole thing or it ends up a disorganized gaggle that's too hard to really follow., making said collabs a chore to sit through. A fine creator, but I just don't have the energy to sit through his stuff anymore.

Here’s a quick rundown of Daft’s controversies.

Lyanna Kea, her asian parent videos were funny at first, but now it's just too personal

aimkid, apparently there was controversy on her being transphobic (which is weird since she's trans herself)

the official scrub daddy youtube channel, it was ALSO funny at first but now i feel like 25% of my brain rotted away because of how annoying it is

I don't hate CinemaSins per se, but I feel like they've gotten too nitpicky over the years (especially with their Encanto review) and they're not as funny as they used to be.

unsubscribed to Punk Rock MBA. Interviewing Blaire White was the last straw. I often cringed at his very conservative takes and focus on the business side of music (I mean, the channel name was a dead giveaway).

Critikal

Think I can summarize my issues as me realizing he’s just become one of those commentary channels. He does big stuff between, I know but feels like that stuff is overwhelmed by him just talking to a camera over Twitter drama people will forget in a week. Doesnt help his clipper use templated thumbnails with the same face which annoy me to no end.

I unsubbed to the Go Animate user African Vulture due to her many fights with other users and that she often claims she's learned from her mistakes, only to go back to her old ways soon afterwards.

Bobby Skullface. Though his reviews are informative, I found his presentation and commentary got really boring.

I used to love React (formerly FineBros) until the Fine brothers were revealed to be horrible bosses. They also had a history of racist behavior, such as one of them donning blackface. Can't forget the fact that they mainly had white people in their thumbnails because they told the people of color on their team that having white people front and center sells. Even after they were thrown out, I can't really look at their videos the same way anymore.

I unsubscribed way before, when I binged videos on “reaction videos bad” for some reason. I forgot why I did that.

The nail in the coffin for many was the Fine brothers trying to claim the word “react.” Granted, knowing how much people hate reaction videos (for good reason), having a purge might not have been so bad. A necessary evil.

I didn’t know they got THAT bad though. I’m glad I jumped ship prior to these events and revelations.

I recently unsubbed from WhoIsThisGit when I became tired of his constant grumbling about feminism. He seems convinced that feminism equals misandry when those two are not the same thing. Not to mention, in the comments section of his first video about unpopular opinions, he'd get quite argumentative whenever anyone disagreed with him. I've also heard rumors that he hates the LGBT community.

Critikal got stale after a while, as are the majority of channels that just talk about what happened today.

Really? I find his brimming vulgarity and hatred delivered in a monotone voice keeps you hooked.

It’s why I unsubscribed to him, I don’t like his content solely bombarding the audience with negativity despite it being justified.

SuperMarioLogan. I used to like his old stuff because it was genuinely funny and entertaining but just like SpongeBob, it's gone downhill to the point where I just straight up despise anything to do with the channel. The majority of the characters are now insufferable mean-spirited assholes who NEVER get punished for their actions and there's an ungodly amount of filler in most of the videos.

There's a good quote that Mr. Enter once said on one of his videos: "People don't like seeing the pain of the innocent." Apparently, Logan completely disagrees with that and seems to think that constant undeserved torment towards people who didn't do anything wrong counts as "comedy".

One of SML's videos, "Uninvited" was what ultimately crossed the line for me because of how infuriatingly stupid and unforgivably horrendous Junior and Joseph have become towards Cody who had every right to not want anything to do with them and in the end, they FORCE him to apologise to them because "HyPoCrItIcAl JeRkAsSeRy Is So FuNnY".

The less I say about Rose/Rosalina the better because oh my god, I absolutely HATE that hypocritical victim-playing one-sided bitch and if I were to rant about her, this post would be about as long as one of J.R.R Tolkien's books.

Yep, same here. Not only did they decline in quality, but I've come to realize that Jeffy aged like fine milk, as he's an ableist caricature. Logan himself doesn't appear to be that great of a guy either, for various reasons. Also, I hate all the LGBTphobia (pretty much all the LGBT characters are depraved in some way).

Anyway, I used to like Isaac Anderson the Go Animate user due to how hilarious his videos were, but I unsubbed from him today since I've been told that he could be generally rude and antisocial to people, and he used the n-word and f-slur several times).

On the topic of bad words, similar happened to me.

I used to follow a lot of people who used to do draft Pokémon tournaments. The majority of them were either egotistical and/or used N-Word Privileges way too much. I’ve listened to them to the point that slurs no longer have weight to them.

I still think that using slurs is wrong.

I used to watch WatchMojo.com’s videos often, but I’ve lost interest in them. As far as I’m aware, the creators haven’t done anything too bad, but their countdowns aren’t as appealing as they used to be.

Retro Blasting. I used to (and still occasionally rewatch) his toy/cartoon retrospectives (the skit where Ronnie Raymond summons Dr. Stein, who is trying to get ready for a date, to form Firestorm still makes me laugh), but his content lately has just gotten too cynical and complaining, plus, even if he was positive, the focus is now on more modern toys now anyway.

Illuminaughtii because of the controversies surrounding her. I used to watch her nearly every day.

I stoped following Scharafillas, he just got too political for my taste and I didn't liked how his videos so often go on an unrelated tangent about he ranting about something that went besides the point he was supposed to be talking about and tends to be one of those reviewers that's very closeminded about his opinion.

I tend to unfollow people who don't upload at least once a month. I prefer a steady flow of videos.

I will be trying to avoid some commentary channels in the future. Some like The Right Opinion are okay but there are other channels that I lost interest in. The Commentary Bros channels make me feel "off" especially the edgy ones.

I stopped viewing Butch Hartman's YT channel after he was revealed to be a con artist (as well as being generally insensitive and incapable of taking criticism).
