Wait, Flareon's considered the worst of the Eeveelutions, stats-wise?
Boooooooo.
Not stat wise, but its movepool really doesn't play to its strengths at all.
Wake me up at your own risk.Well being a mixed attacker without good speed is a poor stat spread.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.My brother regularly lectures me about Flareon's problem. See, its attack stat was higher than its special stat. (In Generation 1, special meant both special attack and special defense.) In Generations 1 through 3, all Fire-type moves were special moves by default, and special moves use the special or special attack stat. In Generation 4, every type got some moves that used the attack stat, and some moves that used the special attack stat.
Say Flareon uses flamethrower. Instead of calculating the damage it does based on Flareon's attack stat, it calculates using its lower special stat, hence it does less damage. Now, by the time Generation 4 rolled around Flareon had access to to physical fire moves that would use the attack stat. This and other touch-ups made Flareon better overall, but back in Generation 1 it had room for improvement.

I admit that I was disappointed we didn't get to see any human characters from the games or anime (did we? I haven't played most of the games).
The thing is, I understand why they did that. Most people are more familiar with the pokemon themselves and not the human characters and they did want this to appeal to people who weren't fans.
I knew someone would write in WMG about them appearing, or at least Meowth. Damn, those guys are awesome.
I'd watch a movie just about Jessie, James and Meowth.
Me too, bud. Me too.
Look, all I want is for the main character to get injured, wake up in the hospital, and see a whole bunch of Nurse Jennies.
you mean joys
jennies are police so being surrounded by a police applies they're a criminal
New theme music also a boxAt least Pokemon lends itself to pretty much any genre. Gives room for a lot of crazy ideas.
Wake me up at your own risk. Why can't it be an injured criminal? Then there'd be Joys and Jennies, Brock's dream come true.
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy. What's interesting is that there were some early spoilers from people who saw an early screening that Team Rocket was in the film. Maybe they just got confused because of the R chemical.
A reaction of protagonist to meet a second Jenny and/or Joy.
"I had not seen you in that other city?. Are you following me?"

I bet there was a Gardevior and Lopbunny scene in the original cut, but it got cut for whatever reason. Probably would have lampshaded the obvious reason for those 2 being popular.......
Watch Symphogear
Don't think we need to still but ok:
THIS POST CONTAINS UNMARKED SPOILERS. READ CAUTIOSLY
And then, BOOM! He's playing the father , just like that, no fuss, nothing. Playing it like it was perfectly normal.
Made me appreciate this movie more.
Yea, that was a nice touch.
Although, I think the movie hasn't completely got over those hang ups since I suspect that, Tim being black, is the only reason why he and Lucy didn't get to kiss in the end

I would agree with you, but No Hugging, No Kissing has been an staple since the begining of the franchise.
A shame too, I liked the two of them together.
I always thought that while Lucario movie is good, good lord it has pacing issues out of the wazoo. I still hold movie 3 as the best of the film. And that this movie is among the top 5.
Whoa, spoilers!
To be fair, they have known each other for a couple of days.
Having a simple date is fine.

Yaaaaaaaaay!
It still has to pass Warcraft with its $433.7 million.

Too bad they never did the sequel.
Although Warcraft is too dense to summarize it in movies anyway.

Personally, I thought Flareon was a reference to Twitch Plays Pokémon... and it happens to be owned by the true Big Bad.
