I dunno about God-Emperor, but my estimate says that the cast of SU could ascend/become indoctrinated into the cult of the Chaos Gods. Pearl or Peridot to Tzeentch, Steven or Amethyst to Nurgle, Pearl or Amethyst or Jasper to Khorne, Lapis or Garnet to Slaanesh and the Corrupted Gems to Malal.

My money's on Abraham Lincoln. You see, when Xenos attacked, he faked his death to form a group of powered-armor soldiers to fight them. He faked his death once again, but during the age of Strife he decided to revive Codename STEAM as the Thunder Warriors.
Teddy Roosevelt and Gordon Freeman are also superb candidates.
