Given how sensitive this topic could be, I wouldn't feel quite surprised if any of you lash out at me for being supposedly disrespectful of gaming.

So cheap video games obtained from Steam sales are fine? tongue

In all seriousness though, this seems to be yet another fundamentalist evangelical "no fun allowed if you want to go to heaven" diatribe, and I'm opposed to that for reason entirely separate from gaming.

Besides, you're on TV Tropes already; it probably serves as Addiction Displacement.

EDIT: Looking at the channel itself, it's completely and utterly nuts, talking about, among other things, heresies associated with Christianity. I'm almost tempted to call this satire.

At the risk of treating this too seriously, the idols that were and are used by "pagans" are mostly worthless beyond the fact they serve as representations of their gods. Video games actually do something. Whether that something is worthwhile or not to you doesn't change that you're discussing two different things. Game consoles don't serve any significant role in any religion denounced by anything coming out of Abram.

That entire channel is completely and utterly insane.

Original Poster, when people use heretic that many times, its generally a good sign they're utterly out of their rational mind.

No, video games are not the devil.

Oh! Wow! This was not what I was expecting at all! I misread the title and thought we were going to talk about Idle Animations!

He may be a giant, nightmarish brute, but like all villains in this series,he sure can sing.
