So curious how do you think hfil will handle frieza in his cacoon. Since buu bits implied he does get out and is resurrected

I'm not sure if we will see Cocoon Frieza but if we do, it will probably be like the very last episode.

Like, Cell and Raditz and the Ginyus and such end up rehabilitated through HFIL but Frieza is the last holdout who refuses to give up his wickedness, so they wind up closing the door on the neighborhood but sending Frieza off for more intensive treatment.

Maybe with a Cocoon Guru or something added in.

I mean, the ogres did mention Super Hell. And how recycling and trash management is such a huge deal in HFIL that simply tossing the wrong can in the wrong bin gets you into Super Hell.

It'd be funny if Super Hell is where Freeza ends up. Because Dragon Ball Super. Ha ha.

Huh, so I was just rewatching the start of the Android Saga where the team encounters Dr. Gero and Android 19, and the voice over at the start of each episode plus the cha la music is gone.

Checking Episodes 35 and 36, looks like those portions got muted for music.

You can tell cause 35's got Yamcha cutting in intermittedly.

Huh, it wasn't like that a few days ago. I guess copyright claimed them. There was even a segment (was it Cell or Freeza?) that had a section of the song muted.

Didn't they have a community post saying their was an issue. Check on You Tube.

Okay, I was trying to watch Dragon Ball Super, but I got sidetracked by the TFS commentary on GT.

I have a memory of watching a stream of DBA on my laptop in 2011 and cracking up nearly every 10 minutes.

So wait, if the DBZA movies aren’t canon to the main abridged continuity, then how come the main series makes references to the movies as if they happened?

I'm probably a decade or so late to the joke but Bardock asking Chilled about BC or AD might mean those stand for Before Chilled and After Death in the Freeza empire.

Broad strokes canon? Similar events to the movies happened in the abridged canon, but different from the ones we see in the movies in a way that there are no continuity or plot issues.

Heck, the Broly movie implies all the movies happen in one continuity.

The movies exist in their own continuities where anything that needs to have happened for them to happen has happened.

The events of the movies aren't canon to the series, but things in the movies exist in the universe of the series.

At least, that's how I've always taken it.

HFIL muddies the issue, with the denizens of the other neighborhood being movie villains whose stories clearly happened in the same continuity as the main neighborhood's canon villains. Cooler even brings up the Big Gete Star, confirming that he didn't just die somehow but very specifically underwent the events of his two films.

I think the official answer at this point is "Meh; Don't think about it too much."
