Honestly, I hope they never do another Attack on Titan.

Attack on Titan was great, and the series has plenty of abridgeable characters.

Yes but then they ran into the problem of "Stop or we'll have to issue a C&D to you".

I mean, I'm going to post some things in this thread, and the gaming thread, and even the DBZA thread when there's some overlap, like D Bcember and the in-character L Ps.

I mean, half the time the DBZA thread is talking about the original Dragon Ball, so. Like, I don't think we're that strict, nor that we should be or have to be.

Why I hope they never do another Attack on Titan Abridged: The characters were basically yelling all their lines. It didn't look like they really knew what they were doing with the characters beyond shallow parodies, probably a fault of doing the Abridge before an official dub happened or something. And I just didn't find the thing funny.

I partly agree on Attack on Titan Abridged. I think the first episode was fine, not as good as DBZA or Hellsing, but I did like it better than FF 7 MA. On the other hand, had the series carried on past that, I think it would have gotten old really fast because Eren is the only character who is an actual character as opposed to a silly voice, and even then he's basically an Expy of abridged Future Trunks. It may well be for the best that the series was Screwed by the Lawyers after one episode.

I personally didn't like FF 7 Machinabridge, least not until Aerith appeared and the quality of comedy improved.

Attack on Titan Abridged was largely only funny at few points. Other than that it's the weakest of the 3 Attack on Titan Abridged series out there right now, even if just comparing first episodes.

Final Fantasy VII Machinabridged never honestly made me laugh outside of 1 scene in Episode 3, and that was more of a chuckle. I came back to finish the first season after reading a review saying It Gets Better, but I'm flat out done with it now because it just isn't funny to me.

I should probably get caught up on that, because I stopped watching that.

I really liked Attack on Titan Abridged. I couldn't get past episode 1 of FFVII:MA, because I don't care for that game's overhypedness, and it wasn't funny.

Pretty much that, except I got to 3 before I stopped.

Wimps. I kept going into episode 7. I really need to keep watching, come to think of it.

I finished the whole season eventually, but I still stand by my decision to stop watching after season 1.

I've watched the entire season. It started out really weak but I liked it by the end. It's easily the weakest of the three abridged series that TFS has going, though.

Oh yeah, definitely weaker. Barrett is still the best part. Seriously, Antfish steals everything he's in.

I guess I can agree with Barrett being the best part about it, seeing as he was the only character in 10 episodes to do anything I found funny (once).

I wonder what other games they're going to be streaming since they're done with Batman, now...They've still got a ways to go before they beat Bloodborne (gotta kill Mergo's Wet Nurse at least before they get to Gehrman and possibly the Moon Presence) but what would they pick if they take a break?
