Considering that one of the vocal attributes to the MCU's dwindling returns lately is overexposure, doubt you'd get that right now
Pantheon server for all who click here. Freaking lost $410 and I am hunting down for a nuke to reign down.Yeah, it would be wise to not reshow another MCU movie in theaters yet, until people are interested in the franchise again.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!Go really oldschool. Put on Workers Leaving the Lumiere Factory.
Deadline is still predicting IF (2024) to open $40 Million against a $110 Million budget.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.Bumping. Right now, people are predicting $30 Million for IF.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.Huh, I looked at the Dune 2 BOM page to see its final numbers (last time I checked it was around 708M)… and it's now at 859? It's probably a bug, since the domestic and international numbers shown are the exact same, but that surprised me for a second.
Def a bug. The Numbers reports the WW gross as 712 million.
Children of Dievas - my webcomic about the Northern CrusadesThat's just Box Office Mojo. It does that sometimes.
Image Pickin' BacklogSo because only Furiosa and Garfield will be topping $25 million, analysts are acting very pessimistic about the Memorial Day box office. Source is The Wrap: https://www.thewrap.com/memorial-day-weekend-box-office-furiosa-garfield-worst-totals-in-quarter-century/
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.Probably Furiosa would save the Memorial Day weekend, the reviews for Garfield outside the US were not so good. So, probably several families would prefer to skip Garfield and IF...
I’m hoping Garfield gets good word of mouth…
They are saying Inside Out 2 will have the highest opening of the year…

The updated article on Deadline is asking if Hollywood should be worried about theatrical. So… yeah. Yet another prediction of the death of theatrical.

"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."This is a gross exaggeration. I’m sure theaters will be fine. A lot of them survived Covid.
In all seriousness, what’s happening with this weekend?

The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire. There just arent any movies people want to see, that's all. I think that once heavy hitters come back we will see an uptick.

The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.
Not to mention, there's been a lot of box office bombs over the years and yet, theaters are still opened. We also had some movies that made over $1 Billion in the box office last year.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!From what I heard even Fury Road wasn't a success so apparently it's to be expected.
A big part of it is apparently that the theatrical experience has become so flipping expensive and much poorer because of people not being quiet and using their phones.

The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.I havent really seen the latter being as gignatic from where I’m at. I just think that the alternative being at home is outweighing expenses
