The Sound of Animals Fighting. Experimental post-rock super group of members from Rx Bandits, Circa Survive, Chiodos, and various guest members. Released a trilogy of albums, then went quiet for about a decade. Made a few occasional live shows, and just came back with a new EP late last year.

hitorie. a japanese rock band formed by former vocaloid producer wowaka in 2011. i can best describe their music with wowaka as very fast-paced and somewhat loud, and their current stuff (with guitarist shinoda singing and leading the band after wowaka's passing) being more pop-sounding, but still being obviously rock. i love them more than anything else.

(p.s, my profile picture is ygarshy, their bassist. the pic itself is a screenshot from the music video of kara no waremono grin)

Oysterband. Long-running British folk with a dose of rock, a hint of punk and a fair bit of politics.

They've just announced their final tour, which might motivate me to get something written up.
