I see. But Alderoth's story will get really complicated as the Metatron starts taking its toll on his mind and body...
Creator of the Avatar Arena and its Discord server.I'm not saying you can't do Metatron stuff. I'm saying I'm kinda done with it. It wasn't ever really my thing; it was always kinda awkward "sharing" it with Questor, and now he's gone... I have no interest in taking up its reigns, it's not my style.
"We can handle what is true, for we are already living it."Am i doing decently with the Hunting party encounter? Its the first time i have brought more than one character into the arena at once
Sometimes it best to leave the lights OffIt's really good fun. A bit slow, but... you've got a lot more to deal with than me.

"We can handle what is true, for we are already living it."Just making sure everyone's action is in, leaving anyone behind would upset people
Sometimes it best to leave the lights OffTrue...
"We can handle what is true, for we are already living it."I am loving the Save draft function for this though
Sometimes it best to leave the lights OffYeah, it's nice, although I'm also used to making do with opening a new tab...
"We can handle what is true, for we are already living it."I guess I just adapt well.... the fact it transfers to other boards is a bit odd.

Sometimes it best to leave the lights OffYo Treeman, you still out there or should we consider that the fog was blown away by the combination effort of Isaki and Vestara?

"We can handle what is true, for we are already living it."@Micool I hadn't really gotten into any arguments with Questor in V4( not ones that both he and other people agreed with) for a very long time, at least I hadn't started ones. Said ones that he started weren't really backed up by other people. At that point, I'm pretty sure he was just looking for reasons to argue. Like. he once said I wasn't "taking into account the strengths and efforts of the attacker", so I pointed out he wasn't "taking into account the strengths and efforts of the defender". He responded with "So?"
During that same argument, he said "No you did not". I honestly had no idea what he was talking about at that point. What did I not do? Beats the hell outta me, 'cause he didn't really expand on what I "didn't" do.
EDIT: Also, the whole "No absolute abilities" might tick some people off. I see no problem with it as long as they don't have too many of them.

Yeah, A few absolutes would almost be required on some characters, a Large Fire Demon would almost need a immunity to fire as part of its skills
Sometimes it best to leave the lights OffRight. For example, a character coming in with immunity to fire? Sounds cool. Fire and electricity? A bit less cool. It stops there, right?
Fire, ice, water, electricity, light, darkness, earth.....
Get that shit outta here.
Why is sign-ups the discussion thread again?
Sometimes it best to leave the lights OffSyme recommended we move it here.
This is the discussion thread, y'know.
True, Lets use the format as it should be used
Sometimes it best to leave the lights OffSince a couple of other people have posted their character's abilities in various places, I may as well explain my character's powers.
Effectively, he has a wide range of powers from the runic arrays he has set up, which allow him to channel that power through his mace and shield. However, his runic arrays are vulnerable to being disrupted magically, as well as plain old scratching them out. I could go into a long rant about the capabilities of rune magic, its limitations and whatnot, but I really don't feel like doing so right now, but suffice it to say that while all of his arrays are active, he's a solid superweight 3 and could theoretically, given enough time, generate a map-wide effect of high power, so I'd put him at around a 3.25 (and by enough time I mean several days).
Seeing as I have a lot of OC's, it might get confusing for others to remember which one of mine can do what. I don't forget because my OC's are tired in to stories I'm writing.
If I'm playing as an OC of mine, and it's unclear to you what he/she can do/what his/her gimmick is, feel free to ask me and I'll tell you.
In the year 202X, all is devastation... Soon, any last shred of hope had by the saintliest optimist shall die and decay.
Actually, I've decided Metatron always was Questor's thing. I'm not losing Alpha and Omega, but I won't be running any more Metatron stuff either. Their Metatron will be more in the vein of canonical Metatron now. (Which leaves Alpha as a plothole, but still... Grandfather Clause.)
