I would say based on the scale it would be around a 6.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureI'd say 4.
Huh, I was just listening to that song at the gym! I'd say it's a high 7, because parts of it go up to 8.
5. it definitely has a crunch to it, but the pace is more in line with hard alternative than anything else.
6.5/10 - Hard hitting but still held back by some more hard rockish elements.
Only Death Is RealUgh, a 10, I guess. That's way out of my range of enjoyment, so I don't really know much about how that band's sound compares to other bands at that level.
I would've thought "Head Creeps" was a lot heavier than level 5, but then again, I find AIC's self-tiled album to be kind of hard to rate on this scale due to its murkier, sludgy-er sound.
Here's another song from that album:
I'd say 5, perhaps on the higher side
7.5 - Iron Maiden were always busy on the higher registers but they knew a thing or two about energetic riffs.
Only Death Is Real7½
The low-quality recording kind of prevents it from being as heavy as it could be (or I would've given it 8). To me, true heaviness is best achieved by the few capable of good production.

5/10
This one's in a bit of an odd position in that it's trying to capitalize on a lot of classic NWOBHM and thrash tropes but at the same time feels the need to contrast it with a lot of classic rock tropes and semi-tuff gai vocals, which ultimately leads to an uneven and self-contradicting style. Flimsy rhythm riffs that are more hard rock bounce than metallic drive give way to some flimsy vaguely Southern fried lead work make it seem at best more of redneck party music than some crushing statement of power.
Manilla Road - The Riddle Master
Only Death Is RealOkay, you've made your bias against Pantera clear, but don't go giving them stupidly low ratings because of that. Level 5 is basically Nickelback.
Anyway, I give that a 7½. Structurally, it's pretty much early speed metal, but gets abrasive enough, often enough, to be pushed a bit higher than what would be expected from that time period (like a song written post-speed metal, intending to emulate that style).
This thread is sorely lacking in Priest.

I'll go with 7 since the page describes "classic metal" as a 7. Also, I somehow misheard "Hellrider" as "Pillowfighter" a couple times.
6.5 - Definitely quite aggressive although beneath the grindcore pacing the riffs feel a bit skinny and lacking weight.
Univers Zero - Triomphe des Mouches
Only Death Is Real4.5ish. Neat track and all but it was a lot more dissonant than heavy if you ask me.
6½. Very chaotic. I like that.
I feel like I'm giving too many "and a half" ratings.

The song starts off with maybe 2, but kicks into high gear and then keeps running back and forth between 4, 5 and 6, starting from the moment when that riff begins.
Here's my choice:

ERROR: Signature not loadedI would say it is a 6 to 6.5 to me.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre Adventure8 - The way the chorus just explodes in this song still hasn't lost its power.
Only Death Is Real7.5 - And damn that's one long, melodic song.

I rated it as a 6. Then I went to check the wiki page and saw that, interestingly enough, "Welcome to the Jungle" is actually an example listed as 6, so I stand by my rating.

8 - It's mostly relying on reverb to attain its heaviness. The actual riff beneath the fuzz isn't quite as weighty as it props itself up to be.
Demigod - Slumber of Sullen Eyes
Only Death Is Real9. It slowed down more than it needed to, and never really exploded in a way that I found satisfying; the vocals were largely the heaviest part.
Let's see how one of the earliest noise bands (in my opinion) holds up today.

It sounds like a 4 to me.
Mohs Scaleof Rockand Metal Hardness
First of all, be cool with it, these are all just people's opinions and someone who'd put something at a 2 someone else would put at a 4, going all the way up the scale to 9 and 11. It's all subjective. Also, "hardness" or heaviness certainly does not mean good or bad.
Alright, let's start with this:
