Personally I think Martinez is overrated as humorist and underrated for nuanced characters. This notwithstanding, I completely lost it at "I'll grant you my ooomphh isn't always on target..." (even in the German translation), and I utterly love "Emperor Mollusk...", possibly as I can easily go as the evil twin of the protagonist. (Or is that good twin?)
