It's a matter of what Eddie is willing to devote the time to programming, not necessarily its reasonableness.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I suppose. I'm not exactly well-versed in programming, but could something like that really be that difficult or time-consuming to implement? I realize it's not exactly a priority, especially since the wiki always comes first when it comes to these things, but still.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.Okay, I was wondering if there's anything I could do to edit my Troper page which sadly, I haven't been editing my page for weeks or so.
You could create a new account actually titled ThreeOneThreeBluestreak and use it either just for editing the page or make it your main account.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.I've tried a couple of times, but I'm still unable to log in with Three One Three Bluestreak.
Remove the spaces.
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyI'm having a similar issue. It lets me make my edits, and when I look at 'preview' I see my edits, but once I hit 'save' it takes me to my page with nothing changed. Any thoughts about what to do? I'd like to link to my blog/fanfiction...

I believe that for security reasons, new accounts aren't allowed to post external links for some amount of time. Hopefully, it should resolve itself within a couple of weeks, but I don't know the exact length of time that this lasts.

Still an issue. The fact that pages with special characters in the URL don't work well does compound the problems here.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThe current thinking is to disallow handles which violate the title rules for pages, so closing this as moot.

I still say that there should be a way to claim a page if you do have a handle like that. There have been several suggestions thrown out here regarding that. None of them seem reasonable?
