There is nothing really wrong with the endings of Steven Universe, either the first series finale or the Future series finale.

Ursula's big plan in the Lorcana card set was revealed as teaming up with...herself.

It doesn't go as planned.

Can't lie, they missed a good opportunity to have the other Ursula look like her live-action counterpart.

It occurred to me that between Mewni, Boiling Isles, and Amphibia, Disney Channel has a thing for death worlds.

I don’t remember that last part. XD

Its something I've heard other fans say (as a joke mainly) as an explanation for why Eric doesn't have boots on when he and Ariel wash up ashore (since realistically they shouldn't have just slipped off in the water).

I thought it was a reference to the TLM the Series episode where the Evil Manta thought boots were guns and Ariel scared him away with two of Eric's.

Oh yeah "Thingamajigger". I remember that episode.

I used to have a false memory that in TLM when Ariel rescues Eric we actually saw a shot of Eric's boots sinking deep into the ocean.

It's actually from the episode "Thingamajigger" when one of Eric's boots sink to the bottom, and Ariel swims to it.

Funny thing about the TV series, my first exposure to it was "In Harmony" on a Disney Sing Along Songs video (its CBS run was before my time, and being Canadian I didn't have access to Disney Channel/Toon Disney to watch it. It probably aired on Family Channel which was like a Canadian Disney Channel, but I didn't have that channel since we only had basic cable) so little kid me was thinking "Hey, I don't remember this song from the movie!"

Then again, why would Ariel need to steal Eric’s boots when she looks pretty good in the ones she owns◊? ;)

By the way, all three of the princesses rock those riding pants and boots!

They most certainly do. As a matter of fact, if you don’t mind spoilers, ;) Princess Lily is going to wear the same riding outfit Aurora has on in that there picture as part of the fun of the 100 year anniversary that she became an angel.
