Yeah, but I tend to think of times when Saban (Maybe Fox) nor Disney kept the stuff so available.
Like once the later half of Zeo finished premiering, they would only reair Zeo's second half.
Turbo not only did that, but also omitted repeating Honey, I Shrunk the Rangers Part II and both parts of Passing the Torch.
Or once Town Disney was replaced with Disney XD, had to settle for other means.
Yeah, I agree on promoting it, but I like to do that for things I'm a part of and in contrast to time we couldn't rewatch the show, especially with how much there is to rewatch, it's a pretty great arrangement.
The reason Saban promoted the heck out of PR was because it was their biggest brand. By contrast Hasbro and Disney have more children's IPs on their hands, and in particular for the latter Disney didn't know what to do with boy's brands since for some reason they were far more comfortable with live action shows aimed at girls.
INT is knowing a tomato is a fruit. WIS is knowing it doesn't belong in a fruit salad. CHA is convincing people that it does.X-Men 97 has proven Disney have gotten very good at tackling boy's brands
Even before then. I know Marvel is full of flops right now, but lets not forget the billion dollar run of the Avengers.
What X-Men 97 did is show they DONT need the Avengers and that Marvel can still be great.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Oh yeah, that's true for the movies, but they did sacrifice a perfectly solid Avengers cartoon for a much more mid one at the time.
That is ALSO VERY TRUE, Until X-Men 97, Disney just COULDNT get any Marvel cartoons right.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.I don't know. Disney still did well on their regular Disney Channel stuff throughout the decade. Like Gravity Falls, Duck Tales 2017, even some Junior shows like Sofia the First and Elena of Avalor.
And given stuff like One More Day and Brand New Day, I just feel it was Marvel animated staff higher ups just not caring.
While the first half of your post doesnt say much I didnt (I said MARVEL cartoons, but you are correct that they knew how to make "Boy" cartoons) but you are indeed correct the awful quality of the Disney Marvel cartoons can indeed be blamed on the Marvel execs who just didnt care.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Hey, Earth's Mightiest Heroes is an amazing Disney-made Marvel cartoon... which they cancelled for not being enough like the movies.
And technically, The Marvels has been the MCU's only outright box office flop; Eternals and Quantumania performed disappointingly but made back their budgets, and Black Widow underperformed in theaters but made its money back through the premium Disney+ rental thing.
Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonI meant the cartoons that came after that. That precise cartoon was cancelled by the uncaring Marvel Execs I was talking about... but it IS a boys cartoon and IT WAS Disney doing it right though.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.I realized that by being on Youtube, Power Rangers has to compete with everything there. The demographic Hasbro wants to catch being kids are taken away by those kids youtube channels and ADD-inducing shorts. And even though technically PR is more available through youtube, Netflix‘s streaming UI makes it easier to pick up and stream compared to Youtube. Since PR is so unique, it stands out of the Netflix catalogue compared to millions of videos. Never mind that you cant put the show on the tab cause Youtube kids.
It doesnt fix their advertising, though I felt franchise got more brand awareness when almost all of its library was on Netflix compared to now. People really underestimate how easier it is to pick up something on a different platform. Hasbro could put the franchise on both, though underselling to Netflix isnt something corporation wants for even one brand
I think if Avatar the Last Airbender was dumped on Youtube and not on Netflix, I believe Avatar wouldnt have gotten as much insane attention as it did. A lot of attention, but not “make a live action show attention”

Pantheon server for all who click here. Freaking lost $410 and I am hunting down for a nuke to reign down.Netflix is pretty bad about promoting shows. Like with Sonic Prime, we didn't know when the show was actually coming out until the last second.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!But this is for the older library, not a new one.
Pantheon server for all who click here. Freaking lost $410 and I am hunting down for a nuke to reign down.Maybe it isn't advertised or promoted enough, but that issue could be minimized by for example fans bringing the fact up on other places we each frequent.
Sucks when fans have to do so, but if continued awareness is important you for instance then the effort surely is worth it.
That said, once awareness is no longer an issue I am curious as to how viewing it on YT is harder. Playlists on the channel are easy to find and heck for say holiday binges you can playlist all Halloween and Christmas episodes to watch in a single session VS having to switch seasons per holiday ep.
Was watching the latest Zenith Films livestream on Youtube and they mention they want to premiere the finale of Rail Riders at Power Morphicon. The next series they do, Beast Hunters, will be a three-part series which won't have a beginning or end, instead resolving a 'middle' story arc. There's one season they want to deliberately end on a cliffhanger, and the very last thing they want to do is Lupin v Pat
…So when is Hollywood gonna make a Power Rangers animated series or movie?
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.Everything is up in the air with whatever the reboot is going to be. That project was announced years ago and the odd whispers we've heard about it have never been made official.
All we keep hearing about of any official stature is the outsourcing of the property for toylines and mobile/online video games

I'm late to the discussion, but did want to remind that the issue with Disney is that for a while they were promoting quantity over quality, with their animation, Marvel, Star Wars, etc.
Not necessarily an issue with how big the names of the characters and brands are.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyDon't really see how that relates to Power Rangers considering Disney never wanted Power Rangers in the first place and were more than happy to dump it at first opportunity
I'm responding to, and in part agreeing with, Aegis P's comments earlier on this page.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyDo remember however that Disney had PR before they acquired Marvel or even Star Wars. Like they sold Power Rangers back to Saban shortly after acquiring Marvel since they had already given up on the franchise.
I will say this about Disney though: they were far more willing to promote non-MMPR installments of the franchise than Hasbro has, even if it didn't quite work out.
INT is knowing a tomato is a fruit. WIS is knowing it doesn't belong in a fruit salad. CHA is convincing people that it does.I remember Disney was apprehensive to the crossovers like Forever Red saying "why are you promoting old toys that aren't made anymore?"
It's pretty ironic that Hasbro has the opposite approach and leans heavily into nostalgia for older fans.
Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonDisney also let RPM off the leash.
Mileena MadnessPeople say Saban Brands had no love for the Disney Seasons but where I lived, Power Rangers aired on the 2nd most popular Broacast network and aired constantly during the Saban Brands Era. And most of the seasons they aired where Disney Underdogs like Jungle Fury and RPM, they dont anymore since Hasbro doesnt have the connections Saban did.

I dont think availability is the problem here. It's that its barely promoted. It used to be that Saban Brands promoted THE CRAP out of the brand ALONG with it being massively readily available. Say whatever you want about their seasons but at least the Power Rangers brand felt... well... POWERFUL in their hands. And there was always the good old seasons you could very much watch if they werent your cup of tea.
I am not making Saban Brands apology here either, what they did to Pretty Cure still pisses me off TO THIS DAY.
