Kung Fu Panda 2. And it's great. It has a great combination of action and comedy. XD And they did a good job of making a peacock, a bird that's traditionally associated with beauty, into a surprisingly fearsome villain. Albeit one that's not entirely devoid of funny moments.
I like to keep my audience riveted. We're watching Enchanted on Discord right now, love the Affectionate Parody of Disney's own films (we agree that it would make a better movie to celebrate the 100th year rather than Wish...no offense)
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.Ghost in the Shell (1995). A classic, highly influential film in the fields of both anime and sci-fi in general... that I'd never actually seen before. I just happened to see it was on Prime and thought "eh, why not".
I liked it. Beautiful animation and great introspective themes. Can see why it's so well-regarded.
Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonToo much of what’s out there now is intense so I decided to watch something light and uplifting no pun intended. It felt good. Absurdity aside, Carl having to face piling on realizations made him a compelling lead. It’s abrupt when he comes to accept them but it leads to a rewarding conclusion.

So last night I watched Galaxy Quest and boy. It was not a good movie. It was an interesting meta experience, but unless some of the stuff is meant to evoke bad production, it just felt scenes just followed each other without any real build up.
I didn’t get what the movie was trying to say and the ending didn’t feel fleshed out enough. Choices the characters made were abrupt and not all the comedy was funny. I really liked its representation of African American culture though New York’s scope wasn’t big enough. I still had a really comforting experience.
Went in blind. It was an experience.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI remember watching that one with my friend Max when we were kids.
I like to keep my audience riveted.Of all things, The Proposal. Watched it on the airplane. It’s hilarious.
In battle, we are reborn.I saw Rock-A-Doodle on Discord. Man, oh man, that movie had a bit of a rough production, like hastily adding in the late Phil Harris' narration in some scenes because SOME people complained that they didn't know what was going on. And missing its intended late 1990 release. Among other things.
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.Just saw Poor Things. Very, very strange, but honestly amazing. Emma Stone deserved that Oscar win. Only criticism is that I though the end dragged a tad, and then seemed to stop quite abruptly, but overall the conclusion was satisfying and the overall film was great.
I saw Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire yesterday. I wish there was a bit more time to build up the main villain.
Help me. I can't get it out of my head.Winx Club: The Secret of the Lost Kingdom. I like it. :) Though I must confess that I'm just so used to the work 4Kids did on the first three seasons, it took me a while to get used to the all CGI animation and the different voices. ^_^;;
I like to keep my audience riveted.Last month I watched The Killer (2023) since people in one of my Discord servers oozed over it and stuff. It's good.
Self-serious autistic metalhead who goes by any pronouns. (avvie template source)Came back to Crunchyroll to find that the AKIRA movie was available without premium, so I watched it. People weren't kidding when they said it was ahead of its time.
"There's no such thing as pure freedom in this world. Even the wind cannot blow forever."Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire
The pacing was way too fast. I walked out 20 minutes in. At least the popcorn tasted good.
I'm actually going to see that tomorrow, so I'm avoiding spoilers.
As for now, I just finished watching Wreck-It Ralph on Disney+ (on my 4K TV~)
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.Recently rewatched The Bad Guys (2022). Can't wait for the sequel!
One thing I have learned in pledging my life to this quest is that I have been betrayed again and again. And again. And again. From Russia with Love on Sunday, and Rogue One on Monday.
Toy Story on Discord.
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned. It felt like a breath of fresh air when compared to modern cartoons.
I watched Wish (2023) to see how bad it was.
It was bad.
Sorry you feel that way.
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.
I can't remember exactly, but either South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut or Tiny Toon Adventures: How I Spent My Vacation.
Oh no! The DREADED AQUAE MORTIS! No, wait, it's just your imagination.
