Nimona

Nimona is a comic about a supervillain duo! One is a an ex-knight mad scientist, the other is his shapeshifting sidekick (Lord Blackheart and the titular Nimona, respectively). Together, They fight the establishment!

I find it pretty sweet so far.

This webcomic has been made into a graphic novel which was recently released! It's real good. (though as a consequence most of the webcomic has been taken down. Perhaps check out your local library if you want to read it for free?)

Also it is getting an animated movie? Raaaaaaad!

That's how I encountered it last year. My fiancee works at a library, saw it in the collection and was intrigued, and we both read it over the course of a weekend. I'd definitely recommend it.

Anyone home? Cause Nimona the movie came out about a month ago, after a string of unfortunate development mishaps involving Disney and to a smash hit! Just finishwd watching it today, was curious how it fares to the original.
