Here is a place to discuss Rooster Teeth productions besides Red vs. Blue.

RWBY looks pretty good. I wonder what the plot will be like.

I pretty much only watch Rooster Teeth's animated adventures and the Achievement Hunter stuff (sometime RT Life). I've been trying to start watching some of their bigger productions like Red vs. Blue but I haven't gotten around to it.

RWBY Yyyyeeaaaaahhhh!

You need to have a unique outlook on life to turn Little Red Riding Hood into "Badass prepubescent girl who slaughters an army of werewolves with a giant cannon that turns into a massive rocket-powered scythe." in your head. Impossibly Cool Weapon is getting a new entry.

I guess Snow White will take up dragon slaying on her own?

Don't know who Black and Yellow could be.

Beauty and the Beast and Goldilocks, most likely.

Probably. But we don't know for sure. The lyrics specifically say "Black the Beast" so I don't see what else it could be. If it is Goldilocks, looks like Everything's Worse with Bears is going to kick in pretty hardcore.

Anyone have any clue what sort of insane weapons Monty is going to throw at us next? White's holding something in her hand. Black has a sheathe on her back implying she'll be the swordmain. Can't see anything Yellow has... Bare-Fisted Monk or perhaps some other small weapon?

Their Rooster Teeth Shorts are awesome. RWBY looks awesome too, but that's kind of a given, considering who's making it.

I just watched the trailer for RWBY. It's so animu it hurts.

There are many things to like about the animation, especially the minimalism with detail and the emphasis on color. The action is true Monty Oum, with lots of great shots and a lot of impractical stunts. However, I'm probably not its target audience.

Also, I'm rather confused as to why the first conclusion of many people is that Yellow is Goldilocks. I thought it was the princess from Rumpelstiltskin. I guess if we're going off of hair, it kinda works, and bears are a much more threatening enemy than a short guy with a long name.

I mostly just watch the Achievement Hunter stuff too, mostly their Let's Plays. I watched all five seasons of the Blood Gulch Chronicles along with Reconstruction, but stopped a bit into Recollection or whatever the next series was.

I started watching the Let's Plays recently, and they are hilarious. Especially the Minecraft ones.

Holy crap those Minecraft Let's Plays are funny. Just finished watching the first one, and I haven't laughed like that in years.

Everything involving the Tower of Pimps is always funny.

Hmm. People are saying Black will be using a whip. I thought it was a sword, but there is some sort of cord going along her portrait. I though it was just a ribbon attached to her clothing or something.

Course it could be both.

I love how in depth the Wiki is already. Pretty much every possible piece of information you could POSSIBLY have gleaned from the trailer is accounted for.

As for non-RWBY shows, can someone tell me why Rage Quit is still funny despite being the exact same thing for nearly a hundred videos?

Yes but he does the same damn thing. Somehow it's still entertaining. Maybe because he finds such amazingly unique ways to fail so spectacularly. The Ninja Gaiden 2 one was the best. I do wonder how I'd have done if my first taste was Path of the Mentor.

How about The Gauntlet? Anyone watching that? It seems to be a pretty standard use of Game Show tropes, but the Rooster Teeth personalities make it more fun.

I watched an episode of Immersion where they did zombies, but other than that I mostly watch Achievement Hunter these days.

So far The Gauntlet seems better than other video game reality shows I've seen on cable.

Okay, so new Minecraft Let's Play that makes me hate Michael and Geoff for now and feel a lot of sympathy for Gavin. Hopefully the next time they do a Tower of Pimps thing it'll end up with everyone else getting humiliated and Gavin ends up with the tower, then he rubs it in their faces.

Rage Quit is the most obnoxious shit I have ever had the misfortune of listening to.

I could not finish the first video I looked at (Dark Souls). How on Earth can you stand this screaming?

But it's not funny. It's just "ARGH THIS GAME IS SO HARD AND I DO STUPID SHIT ON PURPOSE AND PRETEND TO GET ANGRY AT IT ARGH!"

The one on Do A Extreme 2 was funny.

People like that stuff. I can't stand it either, but eh, at least he's not always doing that in the Let's Plays, too.
