I suspect the book you are referring to is Dave Gorman's Googlewhack Adventure, which was based on a live show he did talking about his discovery of this phenomenon and being challenged to find ten googlewhacks in a row. Very funny live show.

Rule 1 of googlewhacks, they don't stay googlewhacks for long after they get point out. For example "Jar Jar Binks you're a genius" and "pappy van poodle" both had zero results until Dearth and droids and Nick Robinson respectively pointed out there's no results for them, then they exploded

I found this in a book. A googlewhack is a google search where you type in two random words and only get one result. you can use any two words, so long as they are words. believe it or not, there's actually a lot of them.
so...uh, discuss?
