Seth McFarlane's "Ted"

That’s because Ted and Lori had much more in common than Lori and John. Plus, they weren’t really trying to change each other.

McFarlane posted a teaser for the Ted series on his Twitter.

It’s being described as an “event” series, though. So no guarantee he event plans on a second season.

I remember I really liked the first one despite a slight tonal issue with it—which doesn't bother me as much now though—and the second one because it avoided that most times I thought was even better—with the fake-out with John being a good gag that helped fit the tone better than Ted's brief one in the first film and also helped that Donnie got arrested and didn't get away in the end either. While the Happy Ending Override with John and Lori's marriage ending because she tried to change him kind of went against the spirit of the original, it didn't really ruin the film though—and Sam was a good match for him too.

The teaser for the show looks good and I hope the movies are still canon too.

Also, SHOCKED at the amount of hate that the Tropers on this thread were giving the first movie before it came out!

As for the two movies, the first movie is probably better after all. That said, the second one has many moments that are even funnier though.

The scene where Ted II looks at the Laptop is pretty much the Internet in a nutshell and never fails to make me laugh:

Just the horror in Seth Macfarlanes Peter Griffin voice he uses for Ted makes it worth it.

My friends and I had a great time laughing at the second movie in the theater. XD
